I'm not sure, but it seems stainless hoses would be more durable and more flexible than the old rubber hoses that tend to dry-rot and crack over time. If they're exposed, they certainly look better than the old black rubber stuff.

Stainless steel fill hose is very flexible and durable. Had no trouble to install it and its length is perfect for my washer rrom space.

Purchased with new washer. Excellent and very long. Recently had a problem with plastic water hose on refrigerator splitting and soaking wood floor in adjacent hall way. I learned then to NEVER use the plastic hoses. These stainless steel hoses virtually never fail. Small price for peace of mind.

Perfect replacement hose for new washer. Better than the rubber hose.

I needed the stainless steel hot and cold washing machine hoses for my new washer. I was planning on upgrading my old rubber hoses, as I had them for about 17 years. I am happy with these stainless steel hoses. They should last just as long, if not longer than the originals.

Stainless steel hose is high quality (not plastic). Compatible with connections to the washing machine and the house water connection.

I was required to purchase a new power cord and dryer vent kit for my new LG dryer. I was also required to buy a new set of water lines for the matching LG washing machine. The power cord is solidly made The dryer vent kit is an upgraded from the cheap expandablt vent only stuff you get from the hardware stores. The Stainless Steel water lines are a better grade from the less expensive rubber hoses and are rated to last much longer. I received a substantial discount on these items at the tinme of purchase as a complete package deal.

These are really good, well made, good length, and easy to install.

I would recommend the added cost of using these hoses. Replaced a 10 yr old front loading washer that vibrated and moved during spin cycles. (despite using carpenter level and special rubber floor mounts). Upon replacing with new washer, when I disconnected the hoses, one hose had worn thru the outer stainless steel jacket (probably from vibration & movement). It probably would not have been much longer until the rubber jacket would have given way. Although it was 10 yrs old, this prevented a failure in the hose. These hoses will probably not last forever, but at least prevent hoses from premature failure, resulting in water damage.
