The stainless steel braid should stay solid for years. I wish there was a red/blue color code, perhaps as a stripe along the length of the hoses for easy hot/cold identification.

Decent set of reinforced washing machine water hoses. When I purchased a HE washer, was told I HAD to purchase these hoses otherwise the manufacturer would not honor warranty. Not too sure if that was true, but the washer was a good deal, so really didn't mind the fact that theses hoses were a bit more $$ than the ones I purchased at a different retail store.

I prefer the metal over the rubber ones. Ok feel the rubber ones get rot and break too easy. These are solid. We had some that we used on 2 washers now

Install was great. Works perfect fitting perfectly. However not big on mess covered hoses. But looks, and works good.

I like them cause they look bettet but are strong.

Did you know that your laundry room/basement/building can flood out if a washing machine hose breaks? (Or do you always turn off their two faucets?) Armored hoses like these are far less likely to crack or split than ordinary rubber hoses as they age. My only complaint is that they are thinner hoses than the armored hoses I already had added for my former washer. I still had to pay for these new ones. Perhaps the new low-water washers don't need as much water flow?

These seem to be standard stainless steel fill hoses. They are durable and will last for years.

I arrived home on my annual vacation from Saudi Arabia only to realize that our new Samsung Washer didn't have the water hose attached. We made a quick trip to our local Best Buy and the salesman assisted us and recommended this stainless steal hose and it connected very easy and now we are able to wash clothes in our new home without any issues.
