Having suffered through a major failure of hoses causing severe water damage a few years ago, we support this policy and enjoy feeling secure when leaving our home without turning off the water supply to our washing machine.

Always use top quality hoses

Although Steel jacketed hoses are more expensive, the investment is worth it. Also, if you get Best Buy/Geek Squad professional installation, you don't really have a choice to reuse or for owner-provided hoses.

Worth the extra money for peace of mind.

The machines come with the standard rubber hoses but the braided stainless steel is a smarter way to connect to water. No need to worry about the hoses bursting and leaking water like the standard rubber hoses that over time will dry out and begin to fail.

Utility piece works fine

I watched for leaks and there have been no leaks from these hoses. Just need to watch after installed that main nuts on hot and cold water spigots have not loosened Up! After 20 years of little activity, i believe the nuts loosened when water was turned off for installation. Our spigots were leaking at main nut, tightening main nut stopped the leaking from the water source/spigot. No fault of the hoses or installation.

Great Addition to new Washer

The installation team from BB came well equipped and knowledgeable on not only the washer but the hose and basic home functions. The hose has been perfect since installation

Unnecessary Necessity

My existing steel lined hose was perfectly fine but given the rules, I surrender to such unnecessary necessities. On the positive side, peace of mind and the installers were excellent!
