It's worth it to pay a little extra for these steel wrapped hoses. I had a near disaster in the past when my rubber washer hoses burst and almost flooded the basement. I will always buy the steel wrapped hoses from now on.

I’m not sure how I can rate this purchase since I had to call for service approximately three weeks after my brand new Samsung front loader washer was installed at my home. The problem was that it leaks when I run the normal wash with two extra rinse cycles. I was told by the Geek Squad,who seem very professional, that they could not find a leak at all and that maybe I in fact had solved the problem. They also said that maybe it was the dryer because they ran a test and they said they saw a blockage. My husband had blowout the vent prior to having this machine delivered as well as our new dryer. He is also going to use rods and a brush to clean it out this weekend. Yesterday the washer leaked again only this time it was after using the rinse and hold cycle. I will be calling the geek squad back and I would hope that if they don’t find a leak again they will replace this machine since it seems to be turning out to be a ‘lemon’

Replaced hot/cold water supply hoses on new washer - recommend you do no keep the old hoses. Stainless steels hoses are the best quality. Installers made the change-out.

When installing new appliances it is good to get new supporting products. This is especially true for washer hoses, and these stainless steel hoses work perfectly. They are excellent quality and worked well in our home.

this hose does not leak so overall it’s doing its job

These are standard braided stainless steel water supply lines. Have used them for 3 weeks now without any issues. Whether or not they'd pass safety standards of all states (such as California's strict product safety standards), I couldn't tell you.
