Stainless-steel? More like stainless-STEAL!

Great functioning, and great looking. Add a touch of class to your basement with these hoses. Who wants to stare at rubber for 45 minutes of straight washing? Do yourself a favor and get these stainless-steel hookups.

For washer install you must have for insurance purposes. So if you are a “do it yourself er” may find it cheaper.

Works, doesn't leak

Instructions say the thread can't be compromised, so no dope, tape, or any other sealant to keep the connector from leaking. Just hand tighten on a clean thread, do a 1/4 turn with a wrench, and go. You need this to have Best Buy install your washer for you (which isn't a bad idea if you ever fear you may need to do a warranty claim).

Good Idea to Change to New Hose

He recommended that changing the hoses is a good practice when you change washers. This install was a very good quality hose and cosmetically attractive. Our laundry room is on the main floor and easily viewed by guests in our home. It is nice to have a good looking unit in place.

Do you need hoses?

We were lucky we had. When taking out old washer, the pipe and old hose were stuck together. So much so that the pipe broke. Sending water spraying all over laundry room. Huge mess. Better to get them then to not.

Sturdy Stainless Steel hoses!

Good replacement hoses

There are no leaks and I guess that's the most important thing. The hoses that were on my old washer were not stainless steel, so I feel it's a very substantial upgrade. Happy with the new hoses.
