They are better than the rubber ones and last much longer. The old hoses were removed and replaced with the new ones. No leaks-

Also it is remarkably quiet. The large washer basket can easily hold a large load. I have no problem recommending this washing machine.

A great upgrade over the old hoses

They are flawless!

Great for Piece of Mind

The stainless steel braiding is great. I have never had a leak in this style of hose. The old black rubber hoses you have to keep an eye on them as they will grow blisters over time and then leak.

Good upgrade

Looks great whenever I peek around the back of the unit to check things out. Sometimes I'll get up on the middle of the night to go peek behind the washer, and bask in the greatness of this hose (while my wife suffers cold and alone because she had married a man who left the warmth of the bed in the middle of the night to admire the new appliances)
