    Good quality steel-braided hoses. Required by Best Buy as part of the delivery & installation of new washer & dryer. They won't re-use existing hoses.

    When the installers tried to attach these hoses, they encountered two problems that involved my need to call a plumber. 1. The cold water intake valve was leaking slowly but steadily. Although they were able to attach the new hose, I had to contact my plumber to install a new valve to stop the leak of the precious water. 2. The hot water intake was a bigger problem because the old washer fill hose was frozen to the plumbing intake valve. Wisely, the installers simply attached the old hose to the new washer and left the new fill hose to be attached when the plumber came to install the new valve

    Initially we were upset that these hoses were added to cart (with reasonable price) with installation package (which is free) but we looked at the bright side of replacing the 11-year-old hoses. We are glad that this was mandatory as a part of the installation package as the existing hoses were short and without these long hoses it would have been impossible to install the washer.
