Highly recommend to change this every time you change your washer or remove them. They might still look good but the condition of the rubber might not be great anymore. The cost of this item is less than if there is any leak that might cost you more in the long run.

Nice but check for leaks initially

Had to replace a gasket on the hot water side because of a slight leak. The gasket was pinched and had to be replaced.

Most Effective, Affordable and Looks Good

I happened to have a pair of rubber hoses handy from a previous washer installation that I decided not to use due to recommendation from a certified plumber to use stainless steel for durability and less chance of failing as a result of high water pressure. I can rest assured that I won't be experiencing problems concerning my hoses which can cause lots of damage if they burst.
