Required if you want BB to connect everything

If you don't buy them, they will NOT connect the hoses they disconnect from your OLD washer to the new unit. It was worth the price of the hoses (about $30 bucks or so) at the time of my washer purchase to get them so that Best Buy would hook everything up. Its best for home owner's insurance purposes to have the vendor hook this up as coverage for damage won't hit YOUR policy if something goes wrong.

New washer needs new hoses

And they were right. Our old hoses looked good on the outside, but the inside showed substantial calcium buildup. Do yourself a favor and get new metal hoses with your new machine.

6' SS hose

But could have one without the other. Delivery guys took the one I already had because they were taking the washer. Last washer only lasted five years so the stainless steel hose was in good shape.
