    It's a hose. It allows water to flow through it. The 6 foot extension was what I needed in order to hook up my new steam dryer. It worked well and included the necessary washers to prevent leaking.

    I really like the build quality of these stainless steel lines. I cannot comment on how well they hold up because this was actually a product that was included with my appliance purchase on accident. I had to return them because I already had stainless lines for my washer and dryer. They felt like great quality though!

    This is a separate purchase (around $30) when I brought my washing machine. It's a good idea to replace the hoses when getting a new equipment. They installed it for me. No problem.
