    It is worth the extra price for the peace of mind it provides. Regular rubber hoses could fail. If you go on vacation, you wouldn't want to come home to a flooded house and the high water bill, would you?

    You may not get excited about hoses until they burst. These reinforced hoses should last for years and not have to be replaced very often.

    I didn't need to buy extra houses. My current ones would it work the same way. Sales man told me I needed those for that washer. Only buy them if is your first time buying a washer or the old ones are damaged.

    These Stainless-Steel Washing Machine Fill Hoses are great. I tried them outside and they work better then a garden hose. A lot more pressure goes though very nice.
