This controller is a power house for any Dji drone. it is basically a laptop computer. screen brightness is perfect for bright sunny days as well.

No Live streaming *Facebook has blocked the interface from its platform *youtube cannot authenticate No Third Part Apps or App Store to add anything other than what is loaded. Very poor performance while trying to use the editor to make a short video. Forced to upload to sky pixel when sharing to anything. Automatically shuts off if not linked to aircraft, this is a problem doing direct file transfers. Inability to update firmware without attaching to PC and using the assistant software (very poor update process) Many bugs in software that present inconsistent operation (like you cant have an SD card in the controller while updating). Android version is outdated, over two years old from 2017. Must download maps in long thin sections, no ability to select map data area. Screen Scratches very easily, must use screen protector. The only thing that works properly on this controller is the flight controls and the screen is brighter than a phone. Not in any way worth 650$

This controller has so many positives but it also can be improved upon. I find that the signal is not as strong as my regular controller flying in the exact same areas. I even purchased a signal enhancer that is supposed to direct the signal better. The screen is great, the form factor is great, if the signal was as good as the stock controller I would give it 5 stars but it need to be better. Not a complete deal breaker but its an issue for me.

Very pleased with the controller so far. No issues nice not to have mess around with phone or Ipad. Slight issue with downloading photos but I think I worked it out

Bought this controller for the added display so I don't have to use my phone and I must say it's the best investment for anyone with mavic series or Air 2S drone.

Better than the stock controller. No need to lag a smartphone or a tablet around. Great all-in-one device to control my Mavic Air 2s. Definitely a must have.

Love it. Bought it for my DJI Air2S. The screen is so large, better than using a phone. Plus, it connects so much quicker. Couldn’t be happier.

I LOVE this remote! I bought it for my Phantom 4 Pro V2, and ended up using for my Mavic 2 Pro as well. While it is pricey, it is a great little addition!

A lot better than using my iPhone with original controller in my opinion. Screen is bright but could be brighter while using in sunny conditions. It is a bit pricey but overall happy with it.

Finally, they have a remote for the DJI Mavic 2 Pro and Mavic 2 Zoom. It seems as if the connections are faster than using a cell phone on the remote. I had bought the Mavic 2 Zoom separately from the Smart Controller so I had to link them together, but that was easy enough. The screen is a lot easier to read, than with a cell phone. When I started taking pictures, and pulled the mini SD card to view there was nothing on it! But after exploring the controller the default was set to internal storage, so I'll I had to do was switch to SD card. Overall I am very happy with this controller!

AN EXCELLENT purchase. I hated the remote that came with the drone so I desided to buy this instead. My only regret is not buying it sooner.

So far so good I have not had any problems with it I love the fact that it has a big screen and I do not have to rely on my phone.

This controller works great! My phone battery no longer goes dead and I can use my phone as a phone while still running the drone.

Easy to set up and smooth video transmission. Bright screen for easy viewing. Layout is well thought out.

I own the Crystalsky monitors as they are excellent in the bright sunlight. However it can be a pain to lug the extra gear around. This smart controller takes the effort out things... just turn on the mavic... turn on the smart controller... and go! I absolutely love it. At the time of my purchase you couldn’t find the smart controller available anywhere... but Best Buy had it!

I tried a smartphone, Tablet, sun hood. All not as good as this screen. Works outdoors great and now I can see the screen.

Super bright, quick boot & sync with drone. Far better flying experience than a the RC & smartphone setup.

So much better than using your phone. You can see clearly in bright daylight, easy to use and hold.
