It's made for it!

First one was a non-Apple cover & I couldn't get it to fit (even tho it was 'made' for my model?). I returned it to buy this one. Fits fine--puts the iPad to sleep when you close it. It seemed a little costly. Wish it could prop up the iPad when reading from my lap.

The only issue I have with it is a lack of stability when folded and being used as a prop to hold the iPad. Sometimes the cover will collapse and let the iPad fall. Thankfully, this has not happened on a hard surface njor led to any damage

Good product if full protection is not required

It just protects the screen as opposed to the back and sides. If you set the iPad down on a scratchy surface, the iPad has no back protection support.
