Does what it's supposed to do

My only problem was when I got my new iPad the old cover didn't fit. So I shelled out the money for this one. I like the wake/sleep feature and the idea of using it as a stand is nice. The minus is that it doesn't always work very well when using the cover as a stand they way it shows in the how to. And it only protects the screen. But it's less likely to be dropped than a phone.

New look

This new style, which clips oneasily covers only the screen but does over support for viewing. I hope it protects as well but so far I am very pleased

Protects the screen when not in use

However, the backside isn't protected and the folding doesn't work for having the iPad on your lap. Basically it does what it is designed for.

Well built, but attracts marks
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As expected with any Apple brand accessory, it’s well built and looks great. The microfiber interior cleans the screen perfectly - it does leave some streaks on the glass where the seams are, but all I need to do to remove them is to drag the interior of the cover along the screen as I open/close it once in a while. I only give it 4 stars because the gray color tends to pick up grease marks if I accidentally touch it with dirty fingers. They eventually wear off, but it’s a little unsightly.

Just what I wanted

I originally ordered the leather one and it was not available, so I ordered the red. When it arrived it was the leather one, but not long after the red one arrives. Decided to keep it in case my husband needs to replace his like I did mine.
