I don't see why this was so pricy because it doesn't seem to provide much protection. it doesn't secure shut very well and Its kinda flimsy.

I like this style cover. Understand that it only covers the front face. I think it is a little pricey for what you get, though.

This item works great. It helps protect an I-Pad screen, it acts as an automatic switch to turn the I-Pad on and off, it is held to the I-Pad by a strong magnet, and it also will prop up your I-Pad for no hands viewing.

This is a very convenient option for protecting the screen when the iPad is not in use, and folds behind nicely when you are using it. I like the added benefit of automatically turning the iPad off when you replace the cover.

Love the look and feel of this cover. It also serves as a stand for the iPad. The thing that you sacrifice with this cover is that it won’t protect against drops. Perfect for those that want a minimalistic cover.

Beautiful color, the online pictures do not do it justice. Easy to put on and great coverage.

This is my second ipad, and consequently the second cover like this I acquire. Although ot does no pr ok the back, screen is fully covered and the folding feature is awesome to keep the ipad standing.

Would be nice if they designed the smart cover so that it would support the ipad for reading in the upright vertical position.

I guess it's my fault I was disappointed in this cover. I assumed it covered the front and back and would be a little more protective.

I purchased a red one because that's my favorite color and the dual purpose use -- to wake it from sleep and to stand it up -- is ideal.

Decent screen protection when closed, when open it’s a little odd to hold cause it’s not flush with the back due to the iPads camera bump

To take proper care of your iPad, you must have a cover for it. This cover is the second one for the iPad that will be its home. I wouldn't consider anything other than an Apple product for the iPad.

Great case/stand. Protects the screen fairly well. Attaches by a magnet and even has a magnet to stay shut so it wont open accidently. Plus it puts the tablet to sleep automatically when it closes which is pretty cool.

I don't like it and have purchased a pelican. I didn't think it had the protection level needed. Plus the magnet didn't hold to well

The most that I love about this cover is that you have 3 different angles to support your iPad on a table, so no matter in what position you’re working, you always find a comfortable way.

Just like the first party smart covers before it, this smart cover for the 2019 iPad Air (and the 10.5" iPad Pro it's based upon) is an excellent option to keep your screen looking great.

I purchased the cover for a new ipad for my mother. Although it does not have a screen protector, it does protect the screen when not in use. Also great for propping it up as it folds well.

Original lasted about ten years. Time to replace with equal or better quality. Very satisfied...so far.

Don't be fooled by other manufacturers of similar covers. I've made that mistake and the old adage of you get what you pay for holds true. The Apple branded smart cover is designed well and does the job.
