It’s sample but it’s not worth the $39+ tax and it’s not constructed to last

Apple's product is poorly designed, over priced and provides minimal protection of screen with thin cover & nothing for back. After researching other alternatives, I returned for a refund and opted for another manufacturer that provided front and back protection and a slot to hold the ipencil internally.

I needed something to protect my brand new IPad but this is only a top cover. It doesn’t protect the back.

This Apple iPad cover only works with iPad Air 2, not the older models. I was disappointed with it not fitting and returned the item.

I bought this for my iPad Pro 9.7 inch. Figured it's an Apple product so it must be good quality. Right? Wrong. It is made with nice materials, BUT it barely stays attached to the iPad via its magnets, it wiggles around constantly, and it does not awaken the device when it's opened. Very disappointed.

I was very disappointed in this Apple product. It is only 1/2 of a cover. It clips onto the side of the iPad and doesn't wrap around the entire iPad. It only covers the screen. Plus, it was expensive. We found a better cover that gives protection on the internet.

This protects the front of your Ipad but leaves the back exposed for possible scratched

I was disappointed with this. While it does hold up your ipad as a stand I thought I was ordering a ipad cover. If I knew what this actually was I would not have ordered it. It was the first time I was disappointed in my purchase from Best Buy. However Best Buy is still one of my favorite stores. Would I recommend it to someone wanting a ipad cover NO, but if they were looking for a stand then yes.

The cover just attaches to the side of the pad and covers the front when closed. Doesn't really protect the pad itself.

Wish I bought the one full one that covers the back too. This one is always falling off.

I liked the thinness but I was uncomfortable for the most part, worrying that the back was going to get scratched.

It works fine for my usage. The magnetic strip that holds it to the I Pad is plenty strong enough to keep the cover in place

For whatever reason this new not so Smart Cover is not as good as the 3 year old model it replaced. Constantly unfastens from the magnetic catch when in the easel configuration. Where’s Apple quality control? And it’s at a premium price point no less. Go third party for a smarter Smart Cover.

This cover is workable, but there has to be a better cover out there. It leaves lines on the screen where the cover folds.

This cover is constantly sliding off. It’s not recommended for children.

I really liked this cover but it fell apart after just a few months.

A gift for my daughter in college, although, my daughter finds it difficult to put it on her IPad 2

I know the product was just released but I wish there was a greater selection of protective cases.

Bought this product thinking it would serve ita purpose, but when the cover is open it doesnt stay open.

the color is very pale and so a little boring. I think it is being discontinued.
