I originally bought just the cover, but returned it for the case that protects both the front and back. It fits in snugly and no worries about it falling out like some other brands and is not bulky. I think they are overpriced, but unfortunately it was the only case that fit my needs at the time of purchase. I'm sure more will become available with time, so if you're not in a rush might be better to wait for other manufacturers to put out new cases.

This cover just protects the screen on my iPad, and does not protect the back. It also shuts the system down when you close it by putting it to sleep. I did not need a heavy duty protector as I am very careful when using my devices.

Great deal - slightly used found it for $10. Love the color. Protects well. Might consider smart case next time. I fold and hold - magnetic side. Is very strong. Stand works great too.

I have used one of these covers on prior iPad and iPad mini. They keep the screen from scratches, and I like the fact the battery is preserved (decreased anyway) when the cover is closed. It's not a solid case, meaning the back of the iPad isn't covered, but Apple does make a separate case if you prefer that style. I have never had an issue with one of these covers, and if it weren't so expensive, I would give it 5 stars. Just hard to justify $40 for a magnetic cover because of the Apple name.....but I still use it all of the time :)

Good well-made cover, easy to install and protects the iPad. Nice for traveling, it’s light and thin.

I bought this case after having/using a keyboard case for the past year or so. The keyboard case was very heavy, and I found that I seldom used the keyboard. This new cover is lightweight, attaches easily (magnetically), and turns the iPad on and off when you open or close the cover. Great product!

Does a great job keeping the iPad screen looking nice, sometimes the stand functions don't work though. For example I will be watching tv and then I look over and the iPad has just collapsed. Not sure if this is just me though....

Since it is an Apple product for an Apple product, it fits well. I love that it turns off my iPad when I close the cover. Materials are good quality. The only reason for the 4 star intead of 5 is that it is pricey for what it is.

There are many models of iPad covers in the wild, but this one has everything you could ask for: • It fits just right • It sleeps when the cover closes • It stands solid with the cover folded behind it. • It resists figure grease • It's worth what you pay for it Apple did this right ...

It's the perfect choice if you just want a simple tight fitting cover, to protect the screen. If you plan on carrying it around a lot and have a greater chance of dropping it, I'd go with something with a little more protection.

I purchased a similar case for an earlier version iPad & was very pleased with the durability and performance. Tried a budget brand for my new iPad Air, and that case was just a smidge too small! Had to return it to the vendor. Go ahead and buy this one first - you won't be disappointed.

Love it! Lightweight! Protects the iPad from drops. Very easy to remove iPad or also to put case on iPad. Only bad thing cannot type in upright position. Case does not hold in upright position.

The case surrounds the entire tablet unlike a great many cheaper brands even the area where the speakers are located. (This area has small holes for the sound). It has a magnetic cover and has the automatic on feature when you open it. The border also has a softer feel than the ones that have hard plastic suggesting better impact resistance. My only real gripe is that it provides only two positions for viewing-nearly upright and nearly flat for typing-and the upright is a little tricky getting it to lock in position. All the controls line up perfectly. The tablet remains very secure but is still easy to remove unlike an old logitech case I have for an Ipad 2 which is still my favorite but needs TNT to remove it. Very good case overall but is expensive.

I have a leather Logitech case with keyboard for when I am traveling, but I needed something for when I was lounging around the house and wanted to be able to enjoy the slim build of my iPad Air. Case is sleek and adds minimal weight, but also provides a stand when needed. Definitely not for anyone that needs hard-core protection. I do recommend purchasing a rear-protector if you are as concerned as I am about scratches.

Looking for a iPad air cover and found this one. The color was bright and fun. It fits perfectly and my iPad is protected. If you are looking for a cover then this is the perfect choice!

The design has changed a bit since I purchased this item for my ipad2. The old design was metal where it attached to the iPad. This new design is no longer has exposed metal which I like. Also the new design also does not slide up and down the hinge as the old one did. Great improvements.

This cover only covers the front of the iPad and does nothing to protect the back or the sides. It folds to hold the iPad upright but it didn't seem to be very secure.

Looked at a lot of different covers, but none fit my use any better. Easy to put on/ take off, thin, light and does what I want it to.

Highly recommend case rather than cover - I have had other colors and have dropped iPad and it was been fine although I wouldn't recommend it. Just the cover doesn't protect the corners and provide any dampening of impact

Love the light blue iPad Air cover I bought at Best Buy. Nice and slim. Adheres well. Protects screen. Does what it is designed to do - a low profile lightweight cover. Perfect cover.
