Fits perfect. Locks the screen when closed and unlocks the screen when opened.

This is a good iPad case - both in how it looks and how it protects. You can choose from several colors. The magnetic cover puts your iPad to sleep when closed. The cover met my expectations.

You are paying for the Apple name here. It is functional and well built, but there are far cheaper similar options. There are far more functional pieces at similar price points.

Easy to use. The magnetic edge is terrific & cover protects screen very well.

I used to have an iPad 2. The smart cover for it was awesome. Strong magnets, stiff panels, and a great hinge. I expected the same or better out of this one, but I was disappointed. This smart cover is much thinner and flimsier than the old covers. It lacks a hinge and simply flaps open on a thin piece of rubber (which is likely to degrade over time). And the magnets barely work, making the act of "triangle folding" the cover in order to prop up the iPad a chore. And once it is propped up, it's just barely strong enough to support the weight of the iPad. Also, the triangle prop is larger than the old covers, and that means the iPad leans backward too far, bounces around during touches, and is just flimsy and not at all sturdy. If I didn't pay so much for this one, I'd be looking for a better one by another brand.

Bought this for my iPad Air 2 and I love it better than the all cover all.

Cover works well as long as you don't need a protective backing on the back of iPad Air 2. I have not been able to find an apple or other product to protect back / sides of iPad Air 2 which is compatible with this magnetic cover

I bought it to protect the screen when not in use but I like it for the stand!

This is a simple yet effective cover to protect my ipad and use as a stand.

Pretty good cover that does not add weight to the iPad air. Black is the best cover as it stays clean and does not get too dirty. Cover also enables Ipad to stand horizontally and vertically
