Great product just a bit to pricey also a great stance an a great design.

Covers the screen, keeps it thin. Works well with other back cases

I bought the Smart Cover to compliment my brand new iPad mini. In some ways, it is better then the Smart Cover for the regular iPad, like the covered hinge. But there are still somethings that are worse, like the flimsier triangle stand and if you don't set it down the right way, the middle section will start rising up and won't lay completely flat.

Provides good screen protection when your not using your iPad.

Good case to have to protect the ipad and doesnt give that bulky looking like other cases.

What I like about the Smart Cover is its versatility to be a stand, to put my iPad to sleep, and frees my hand so I don't have to hold it for long periods of time while watching videos and playing some games. Plus, when you do flip the cover on the back-side of the iPad, it feels more comfortable to fold in your hands. This product makes the iPad experience better then without it.

It just does not function well. I thought since iPad Mini was a third of the weight of other iPads, that the iPad Mini would not tip over or wobble in movie mode. It wobbles, not sturdy at all. I got the Belkin Verve 2.0 Folio Case. It's perfect. If you are looking for just looks and nothing else, then the Smart Cover is for you. My girlfriend & I slept on the decision to either return it or keep it. Well, it's going back as soon as I finish posting this review. It has only viable, usable feature...the look.

I love the fact that its so thin and the magnet attachment functionality. When this is on my mini it really keeps the form factor to a minimum. Wouldn't recommend this if your children will at any time have access to you iPad.

Very disappointed in this ipad mini cover. It does protect the screen, but when used as a stand, it is worthless. It falls down continuously.

I like the smart covers, but the magnets are not strong enough. I wish there was a back cover that helped secure the cover hinge

Love the green cover but a bit flimzy for standing the ipad. Still would recommend it though because it's slim and keeps the ipad light and compact.

I purchased this at the same time as my iPad Mini and I guess it mostly does the job it's intended for, that of protecting the screen. That being said, compared to the previous Smart Covers for the normal iPad this cover becomes detached much more easily and frequently. The microfiber lining acts as a much more powerful magnet for lint and dust than the magnets that hold the cover to the iPad mini and instead of cleaning the screen, as it claims, it keeps it dusty. It also is not nearly as sturdy when doubling as a stand, even though the mini is smaller and lighter. The build quality is quite poor for the price. It has already begun coming apart on the edges even though I've had it for 6 weeks, use the iPad mini about an hour a week and it stays in my computer bag the rest of the time.
