Some people have commented on the size of the case making the iPad too thick. I however prefer the case. I find it to fit securely, has a soft lining for protecting the screen, and eliminates the slippery grip of not having a case. I tried some other cheaper cases originally, finally purchased this one and am very happy.

This is a good screen protector when closed and turns off iPad when closed, on when opened. If you are looking for something for "drop protection" get something else as this is only a top cover to protect your screen when you are not using it.

I love this smart cover. It was recommended to me by my salesman. I especially love how it puts the iPad to sleep when the cover is closed--no more sliding buttons to put in sleep mode. It truly is a great way to protect the iPad itself. Why purchase an expensive machine and not see that it is cared for properly.

There are alternatives to this case that still have the smart capability, but the quality is what makes this the best. I love the open/close turn on/off feature. I don't really use it as a stand as advertised. Not very sturdy, even with the mini.

The case is leather and keeps the profile of the iPad along with feeling great. It doesn't provide a lot of protection and when you consider the price you have to really be willing to keep it protected because the case wouldn't protect very much.

After reading reviews about the iPad mini2 case from Apple, we decided to purchase the brown case. It fits extremely well and the brown leather feels fantastic. I like the idea of putting the iPad mini2 to sleep with the cover. Very glad I purchased this case. An added bonus Best Buy had it on sale !

I bought this case for my iPad mini 4 because the sells person didn't inform me that this was for the 2. The wrong purchase was on my end. The one thing that I could say about this case, is that the stand part of it, needs to be bigger.

I wasn't sure how I would use my iPad Mini, but wanted to protect it. This cover works well as a first defense, yet leaves the Mini slender enough that I can put it in the same case with my MacBook Air, or my purse. I will be purchasing another case for heavier duty protection once I know where all the Mini will be going (everywhere) and what it will be doing (videoing at horse events, photographing at sales events, house hunting, etc.) and how much protection I will need for it. As an example, I was looking at a $79 case, but have found that case isn't suitable for me as I often take my iPad out of its current cover to get better photo angles - the $79 case would not have been so easily shed, so I have saved money there.

I tried the keyboard case and found it was too cumbersome, so I went back to the Apple cover like I had on my iPad. This recent purchase was for the mini iPad and I'm very happy with it.

Of all the cases available for iPad mini, this one is the best for looks and function, plus it does a good job protecting the screen.

great cover, works well. could be slightly cheaper being that is for the mini and not that full size ipad.

It looks great, but the fact that it doesn't cover the back is concerning. It's also very easy to disconnect it from the iPad at times.

I didn't really want a bulky cover for my ipad mini so I opted for the smart cover instead. I love its multi-functionality as a cover and kickstand and the fact that it puts the ipad to sleep when it is closed. It doesn't move around and I am overall really satisfied with its performance so far!

I first bought a mini. iPad case with Bluetooth keyboard but it proved too bulky and heavy. The keyboard does not really help because the virtual keyboard on the iPad is good enough. The apple mini iPad cover is just right.

I really love how the employee got me to buy this because of how it protects the front screen and pretty decent price for it. Just wish it had a back cover it but still an amazing product.

I love the compactness of this cover. It doesn't bulk up the Ipad like so many covers do. It is easy to use you just put it near the unit and it is magnetic so it latches on. Two minor things that you need to get used to. First it doesn't cover the back of the Ipad so if you are hard on your tablets then this isn't for you because you would scratch the back. Second - the cover moves slightly when touched so your Ipad is waking up and you aren't really using it ... I set it on the seat in my car and when I turn corners, if my purse hits the cover of it I can hear the click that is waking up the unit. That is really the only downside I see.

Purchased for gently used iPad by responsible adult. Not heavy case & not A sturdy stand. However, I like how it closes down the iPad when I close the case. The magnetic fit is simple. It either protects the screen or protects the back, can't do both at the same time.
