That said, because it does not fit snugly, when it is slid into a laptop or other bag, the cover tends to "slide" off and turn the ipad on. A bit of battery waster. It is light weight and does not add a lot of extra bulk, that said, it also offers a limited amount of protection.

Convenient cover

Never used the larger iPad so it might not be as stable as those, but works well for propping the iPad up. Can't put too much pressure on it, though, or it collapses flat. The positives of screen protection and convenience outweigh those downsides.

wish i got the full cover

I have an iPad 2 with a full cover and prefer that cover not because of the protection but for holding the iPad up while watching a movie. This cover seems to "slip" occasionally.
