Works well for protecting the screen. I am a little concerned about scratches on the back of the tablet though. Also, don't drop your Ipad, offers no protection.

I was looking for a nice case to protect my iPad and thought this case would be perfect. After owning it for a while I feel I made the right choice. It feels great in your hand and is very functional. Quality is top notch.

I use a hard case and keyboard for my iPad 2 so moving to the Smart case with out a keyboard has been interesting. But using the mini as more of a reader and browser is great with this case. The cover does slide a little so of you like clean, round, edges this might frustrated you.

This item was not was I was expecting. I did read the reviews and people stated that it provided protection. It may be good just to cover the screen but I was needing for protection of the ipad for a 9 year old.

This is a cool and decent cover, but offers no protection for the back of the device. This cover adds to the coolness factor of the iPad mini, but there may be better covers on the market if you're looking for more protection.

I'm always a sucker for going with the official Apple version of something, this is no different. I like it better than my smartcover for my Retina ipad, but it shouldn't be the same price, cut it to $25, and it's a steal.

The mini cover fits more securely on the iPad than the larger covers. The trifold is useful in propping up the mini for reading. However, the cover slides more than the larger covers. Overall, worth the open box price of $23.

This cover is high quality and designed well. I gave it four stars because it does not protect the back of the iPad at all - it needs to be used in conjunction with a back cover / case to fully protect the device.

Not BB's fault, but Apple does need to offer other options. But the cover/stand works great. I had an identical one for my iPad and when I got the Mini, just bought the same thing. A must if you are purchasing an iPad.

In short If you are looking for a cover meant to protect your ipad from falls, bumps and kids; this is not that cover. For others read on, I did assume that it comes with back cover but it don't. It attaches to a side of tablet and covers the screen. It can also fold and add support to tablet for skype calls and movie watching. ipad locks/unlocks as I cover/uncover it. I like the functionality though prefer a little back protection as well; and its metal so felt cold as well. I bought it on clearance sell and for that price I am fine but on full price I probably buy something better.

The quality is great and it does the job of protecting the screen but there are far cheaper third party covers that are just as good and cheaper.

The magnetic strip is a nice touch, but it isn't much for protection. The price is a little high unless you get it on sale, but the color options are pretty cool.

Very expensive and doesn't fold up into as sturdy of a stand as the full size ipad cover. Not real happy with it.

I've had this now for a few months. It works well. There is nothing new and innovative about it, compared to the Apple cover, but it does its job. I pleased with it and the price is good.

It's a bit overpriced, but works fine. There is an added benefit that it "cleans" the screen. However, there are lines that appear from where the cover folds.

It works well enough even though it doesn't seem to lay flat. I was surprised that apple put a product out that's fit and finish wasn't perfect. That said, an iPad isn't an iPad without the Smart Cover.

It's nice to have that apple genuin accessories but it's always too expensive when you compares it to other decent brand's products with same functions.

Awsome I purchased an gernaric won of Amazon for like 20. Super unsatisfide material was super annoying I asked for my money back they gave it back I put 50 with it and bought this case super happy no complaints. Except money but you get what u pay for

This is a good basic cover and it is also a good stand. It doesn't fully protect the ipad though and I will look to purchase a sleeve in the future.

Very useful cover for iPad mini. Only use for carrying in my portfolio to protect for minor damage. Useful but not full protection.
