I purchased this for my daughter who is a college student and this product doesn't work well for her. When the I Pad is being transported in a school bag the cover tends to come off and anything around it scratches the face of the I Pad. This product is great if you do not carry with you, Otherwise I suggest a full case for those that transport.

Was unable to find a suitable gift for my niece for her birthday. Thought replacing her mini ipad cover with an Apple cover would be great.

Its very nice when your in a hurry you don't have to fumble with it in it's case to get it to lock. It makes locking your Ipad very simple.

This is a nice, good quality cover for the iPad mini. Just enough coverage to protect, but not too much to make it bulky.

The mini without this smart cover is like a GPS with no holder. I think you have to have this addition and should be part of the purchase.

Definately simple and sturdy. It protects the front, but not the back like the older versions. I didn't read that part.

I like this cover because it comes in a variety of colors. It also bends to a propped up position for easier viewing capabilities.

I have had o get used to the thickness difference btwn a Kindle and the Mini. It's wierd, but a very noteable difference for me.

Compared to the old style, the build quality is awesome! No worries of possible scratching of the side of iPad. I recommend!
