    Greek squad, wrong quote and no install.

    The store associate quoted and under charged me for the service. The install tech's weren't even from BestBuy thet were contractors. They couldn't make it on the date, so they rescheduled w/o asking me. Called customer service, but they didn't help. They were unsympathetic about the incorrect quote (ended up charging double) and told me it's out of their hands since it was not Greek squad. I canceled the install. Best Buy is no longer my first choice for electronics or installation.

    I am waiting on a call from Best Buy and the electricians to resolve my floodlight installation. Electricians have come by my home twice without the proper equipment to complete the light installation. (Ladder) To complicate matters worse, they have indicated in the computer system that the job has been completed. More to follow on this matter, but I plan to return to Best Buy for a refund of the installation charges today.

    Installed ring camera on existing flood light.

    The guy that installed my ring camera stole the wrench tool that came inside the ring box camera. I had to repeatedly text him to return it until he did.

    These people are the worst i nrought a $249.00 cam pro spot loght and a wired kit for about 116.00 and i am a totech member and it was to be installed in October. It is now November and it is still not installed nor do i have the items .

    Ring cameras

    I had a team come out 2 weeks later sadly even though I mentioned I had security issues and needed them done ASAP. Now the cameras do are not reliable and are not connecting to my ring app appropriately. There is no reliability and it is very difficult to figure out due to poor communication. Now trying to get someone to come out and take a look will be 3 weeks from now to even get any help, this raises a lot of red flags for my safety of the family.

    The agent came to my house and told me that the cameras/floodlights I bought would not work as there was no power wired to the location. Therefore he could not install them. Hed recommended another camera. I wish that the sales people and the geek squad were on the same page. Its frustrating to not be able to complete a job because the equipment you were sold wont work.

    Already 5 appointments and issue never fixed

    this is the 5th time that my appointment was scheduled. I took time off from work to wait and nobody showed up. Horrible service and incompetent team. I give up and will have to pay a professional to do the work for me although I purchased warranty.

    if I could give this a minus I would. Ive had my ring for over a month and geek squad has failed to know how to schedule the installation. Ive had it for over a month and after calling several times and terrible phone service, still waiting for someone who knows how to install. Sales people in store told me it would be no problem installing, thats a lie. Next appointment end of November, will see if it ever happens. Extremely disappointed.

    Third Party Contractors Need to Go

    I purchased my Ring and, subsequently, Eero components months ago and they still have not been installed properly. Third party contractors repeatedly cancelled, and also didn't install thoroughly the first time around. Geek Squad has been helpful. Best Buy needs to employ its own ppl to do install

    Service not provided by Geek Squad. No call no show for first installation. Now waiting another two weeks for third party installer. Repetitive attempts to confirm appointment were handled by outsourced call center. English not required. Disappointed, disgusted Cannot recommend.

    There was an older gentleman that helped install everything Ring that we had. He was so rude and seemed in a hurry. Hardly explained anything. A few of the sensors I had to I had to fix because they weren’t working properly. The main key pad he didn’t show me how to work it. All in all he was rude, in a hurry, and didn’t show me much at all. I understand it was not Geek squad who did this but y’all should find someone els to do that service for you. That was terrible

    Zero stars. Installation was supposed to be May 13. Nobody showed up and nobody can seem to give me a straight answer as to what has happened. I've called, I've gone to the store. I feel like I am in the twilight zone. Horrible experience. Canceling total tech!!!

    This service never happened. At least I was not given a 12 hour window, as occurred in February, when again, an installer never arrived. It appears to be an awesome perk of Total Tech Support, except it has this little complication.......try actually obtaining the services. This was for only a one to two camera install, to a previously sent up dvr & 2 other cams installed & functional. At least this is consistent.

    American AV wasn't able to install my camera

    The service was not completed. The technician from American AV was not able to connect the camera to my WIFI network. Please stop contracting your installation to this contractor (American AV). There are incompetent and giving Best Buy and Geek Squad a black eye. I will not purchase anything from Best Buy in the future if the isntaller is American AV.

    They didn't show up twice for the installation and i waited all day. They keep pushing it one more week everytime they didn't show up and they didn't even had and explanation why they didn't show up all they said was that someone cancelled the installation.

    Geek Squad could not install Ring Floodlight Camer

    The tech representative and told me that he could not touch the Nest Thermostat since a HVAC person needed to be there and he could not install the camera since it needed a junction box. Very disappointed. I was promised a refund. I am waiting for the service refund.

    Your installer broke the outlet box and used a piece of mulch shoved behind the camera to make it point where it needed to be. The ring doorbell was not installed square with the siding and now looks cocked. My wife said the installer was rude to her.
