Geek installed my Ring security lights quickly!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The agents set up and got my systems working immediately. For about 1.5 weeks things were great! I could tell when intruders were on my property! Then bingo just like that, the iPhone was no longer showing me anything! My lights work as motion detectors just independently! During the day they do not work at all! I am awaiting the arrival of the installer to correct whatever is the problem.

Floodcam Installation paid for, but not completed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Ring floodcam was not successfully hooked up, and still does not operate, so that’s a negative. 1 star because, even though heI didn’t get the floodcam operating, the technician was very considerate and punctual.

Wrong sale, incorrect installation.

Installer (Mark) told me I needed to purchase a Ring Plug In Adapter but that was the wrong item to fix the problem. Also, installer left the Ring doorbell on the house unsecured where it could be removed and stolen.

Geek Squad couldn't complete the installation

The Geek Squad tech showed up and said he couldn't do it. Not qualified for the job. I might have picked a different option for a floodlight had I known they couldn't complete the installation.

Ring floodlight installation

After the third time, I was told that the appointment had to be made with the special equipment team. Just horrible

Have not installed the floodlight ring camera.

Don't understand why Best Buy keeps sending the wrong people. We get frustrated being on the phone with apologetic service but no solution.

Poor install

Installation closed out as completed without ever seeing a service provider! Finally I was told that I would get a full refund of my $128 for the poor service and inconvenience....NEVER HAPPENED DESPITE ME FOLLOWING UP SEVERAL TIMES WITH BEST BUY!!! Absolutely Poor follow up. Sad

Unable to install Floodlight Pro Cam

Bestbuy did not explain that an existing floodlight had to be present already. I paid extra money for this "Smart Floodlight" installation, and it didn't happen. Now hiring an electrician to complete the installation...

Geek squad installed Ring camera
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The tech was a sub contractor and try to sell me his product and did not fully set up the app that went with the camera.

Installation not performed
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although when I made the appointment for the installation with the understanding that the Ring flood light was replacing another wired light, when the Geek Squad technicians arrived, they said that they don't work on high voltage wires. I was tood to call the store since Bedt Buy has a contract with an electrician. I should have been told this when I first called to set up the install.

3rd party install team

Seemed like a simple install but they couldn't connect it properly to the app and one of the lights flickers while in use. Instead of diagnosing it they just said it must be defective. Waiting weeks for a new product replacement.

After 6+ hours with customer service over 3 days, they had me running circles and never refunded me. I was an Elite level customer. Very disappointing.

No-shows/no call on multiple appointment dates

I am wheelchair-bound and had to hire someone to come sit with me all day on each of the appointment days, all for nothing. I canceled my entire purchase and had the Total Tech Support plan canceled and refunded.

Spotlight camera still not installed satisfactory

It's been removed from the side of my house and is still not put back. The sales manager said he'd send up an escalation over a month ago and i haven't heard back from him.

Twice they can out to my home and both installers found a reason why the lighting could not be installed. I ended up using another installer who did the job in a short manner of time.

Went through two of these that did not complete firmware update so could not install. The install process for a floodlight through Best Buy is a nightmare. Skip it and hire a reputable electrician with a different brand of flood light.
