My appointment was originally between 7:30 and 10:30 then it was changed to 6:30 to 9:30 the installer was not notified of the change and called at 8:00 and said his van broke down and he would be here at 10:00 he arrived at 10:30 and was unable to get the camera to work said we need an extender this company is terrible you can’t even talk to a live person I will never use the company again

I purchased two Ring floodlight cameras and as a Totaltech member I received conflicting information from the customer service reps and the installer regarding the installation costs as I first was told there would be a cost, then was told there would be no cost, then on installation day was told one camera would be free to install as a part of Totaltech, but there would be a cost for the installation of the second which I paid.

The team arrived at the time they said they would arrive. They quickly installed the smart floodlight and provided me with an overview on how to use the app on my smartphone. Excellent service!

Geeks did a good job. Nice automatic light. It has 2 lights, the one closest to my front door kept coming on and was annoying from inside. I finally put black electrical tape over the blub. All is good!

I will never deal with best buy again, I needed a ring wired cam installed and I paid over 200$ and had to wait 2 weeks for my appointment then the guy didn’t show and Best Buy never contacted me, I called the first girl was extremely rude and rescheduled my appointment for another 2 weeks out instead of giving me a refund she wouldn’t reduce the price for what I went thru so I talked to another guy he apologized and said when the appointment was done we would get a 50$ credit for our trouble and we just called and the girl we talked to was rude and said there was no info on this credit and all she could give us was 3$ even though this is the 2nd time we called off work to get this done and wouldn’t let us speak to a supervisor, Best Buy is not only the most over priced but the most unprofessional company I’ve ever felt with in my life and they have lost mine and my wife’s business including other family and friends we shared this horrific experience with, don’t get there security cameras go thru ring and let them set it up you won’t be charged as much and the service will be more professional.
