The case is smooth to the touch, the magnetic hold is strong. The case is also lightweight not adding to the overall weight and not bulky so storing and traveling is amazing too. However, I have had no problems. The iPad fits in the case magnetically and it does not fall out, even with light shaking. The quality is great and I would definitely recommend this slim iPad case.
