This was a new program from what I could tell. Their were many follow up calls confirming our appointment and the service did not take long. Our system is functioning properly now with a wifi capable thermostat.

I had Best Buy to install my new thermostat. They did a great job. Will use them again at my vacation home. So far I have been really pleased with all the Geek Squad installations I have had them do.

The guys that installed all my items were very knowledgeable and courteous. They answered all my questions and schooled me on all the technology installed in my home. I am very happy with the whole process.

The thermostat is great but the service installation is questionable not knowing what to do. Watching youtube videos and asking me questions there's not even a procedure for them to check if everything is working after the installation. Mine was just filling out his survey as soon as possible. By the way had a 3pm-7pm appointment they called around 9pm if i'm still okay with the service got to my house around 10am finished around 1230 midnight requested a service repair and was told earliest is 2 weeks. Hey its a roll on a dice if you guys still want to add this service

I was expecting to benefit from the TotalTech service. On my first scheduled installation, the crew didn’t come. I had to be in the house from 8:00 to 1:00pm, and they never showed up. I called customer service, and they informed me that they were going to be late, and to wait till 1:30pm. They never showed up. I called again and they recommended to reschedule the appointment. I don’t understand why do I have to chase for information. The TotalTech service package was oversold, and it is simply not worth my time. I cancelled the installation, but never got an apology for wasting my time
