First time using Ecobee, replacing Amazon thermostat because of the glitches.

The agent assited me with choosing the correct device which would work.with my older model heater.

With a great backlight, the numbers a large enough to be read across the room. It outside temp is helpful, too. The app could be better, but it is ok. Super easy to program.

The agent mounted my Nest thermostat and guided me through the use of the unit.

It took 4 attempts to get it installed properly. The reasons were all about lousy installers. No.1 didn't bring the thermostat saying he was not a deliveryman and left even though Best Buy set it up for him to bring it. No. 2 took off sick without ever letting me know so I sat here all day. No 3 was a couple of clowns who installed it on the wall and saying they didn't know how to program all its features including wi-fi so it didn't work. No. 4 did most of it but not all. I had to call Honeywell to get help finishing the install. I complained to Best Buy after each one and they just shrugged as if they knew that they didn't ever do a good job. Why don't you people get a new 3rd party to do this work instead of making the customer suffer????????

Great purchase! I love how functional it is and how I can change settings from my bed or at work :)

Installed thermostats, did not work as expected. 3rd party installer decided to stop rather than troubleshoot. Like shopping at Best Buy but wouldn’t use them again for any installation beyond TV mounting.

I bought two Nest learning thermostat and got in the geek squad for installation. They were not able to instal it and did not even provide any alternatives on how it can work. I read on multiple forums that only experts can instal but did not get that expertise in my case.

Geek Squad did an excellent job installing my Nest thermostat and Orbi Wi-Fi boosters. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient! Wouldn't hesitate to use them for any installs.

The technician installed the Ecobee smart thermostat and did the initial programming.

Geek Squad arrived on time, and installed the Ecobee Smart thermostat in no time and tested it to ensure it was available to my Smart Hub and my smartphone - working great !!!

Will never hire Geek squad again! They hired a third party company to install my ecobee. 2 men came to my house pulled my existing thermostat off blew a fuse for my furnace hooked my original thermostat back up incorrectly. Then they proceeded to tell me that the ecobee could not work w my furnace. I then had to hire another hvac to install it, only to find out that if my ac would have kicked on it would have fried it due to the way they set it back up. When we called to complain how it was never installed Best Buy would not refund my money even though they are the company I paid to install the thermostat. When I asked for a supervisor they just transferred me to the other company Installs inc. I then found out that my name and initials were forged on the paperwork stating they installed the ecobee and how happy I was with their job. Could not be more furious with how I was treated and the fraudulent matters that occurred. I have never been so displeased with a service like I am now.

The tech was professional, he was on time. We had some wiring issues and the tech fixed them very nicely.

The geek squad installed my Nest thermostats, very quickly, professionally as always (we have used them for multiple projects at the house). They are the best!
