Geek squad were efficient and did an awesome job. The installed the Smart thermostat and instructed me on how to use it and download the app.

It won’t work as well with our heating/cooling system as what we already have.

The installer wasn't very communicative and didn't take the time to review the thermostat with me. I did not have internet at the time of the install so he told me to make another appointment a week later. I decided it was easier to figure it out on my own.

Device was supposed to b installed on 12/11 between 5-8pm. NOPE a no one showed or called. I called customer care and got no where. Sunday morning I wake up to a voicemail that was received at 10;00pm. It was the installer saying I had two minutes to call him back or he’s moving on to the next install. Really???? You have my number u couldn’t call me earlier??? Sunday morning they show up at my door. Unannounced. No text or call. The two installers were like the blind leading the blind. When I asked why they didn’t come Sat they said I called u….we had delays. Well why the heck didn’t u call when u knew u were delayed???? Called customer care AGAIN and AGAIN got no where

The agents set up my TV and connected it and got it up and running.

I tried 2 times to install a smart thermostat with total tech , first time it needed c wire so I had to buy a Diferent thermostat i bough google nest, technician came to install took 5 minutes , while he was in a Best Buy training call , he told me to charge for 8 hours before it would work, so after 8 hours I put it back , didn’t work I texted him he didn’t reply , he didn’t stall the plate that I didn’t even know it came with with , horrible service . I had to call someone else to install for me

Grateful for the Best Buy free home evaluation. I am also thankful that they stand behind their work.

I purchased a Smart Color Thermostat from best buy and paid for best buy to install it. Their technicians came by on Friday to install it. They installed it and left ,five minutes later my house felt very hot. I called technician and asked him to please come back . I explained that I had Lupus and it was the weekend ,for him not to leave me like this. The technician refused to come back and told me to call best buy instead. I couldn't get a hold of anyone from Best buy because it was the weekend .I ended up calling my home warranty and payed them to sent an air conditioner repairman. He informed me that the thermostat was defected and needed to be replaced. I finally called best buy to complain and I was told it was a third party who Best buy hired to install thermostat. So disappointed .

Nice product and good quality. Worth the buy and im enjoying it.

They can't do ecobee installation, only nest product.
