I was told by tech support that their techs can install a c wire for a nest thermostat. The first time they sent out Sam, really great guy and tech, but he explained he couldn’t do a C wire. Wasted a day. Called again and was assured that this time they would send out a tech that could do a c wire. They sent Sam, again, and this time he had to people in training with him. He then contacted his supervisor and was told Geek Squad Techs don’t do c wires. An A/C person needs to be hired. Ugh! Wasted 2 days with a 6 hour window for arrival each time just to find out they were wrong. Felt badly that they wasted Sam’s time too. Sam was VERY kind and gracious about it.

3rd party services are always going to be a mixed bag. the company that was assigned to me was for a 5:45 to 7:45 window . Had little to no communication. last update i got was that it would be a little after 7:45. almost 9pm and they have not shown.
