Tried scheduling this install 4 different times and it was canceled each time. After 7 months, I PAID to install myself. Best Buy won't do anything. CRST doesn't have any installers to do the work - despite being a TotalTech member which is part of my membership. Want money to compensate. Install was $150 and countless hours chasing this around with CRST and BestBuy. Absolute joke.

I receieved several calls confirming my installation date/time but no one showed up. Had to call customer service several times that evening trying to figure out where are the installers. Everyone kept telling me that they were on the way. After 3 hours I was told they couldn't find my house. THE INSTALLER HAD MY NUMBER ALL HE/SHE HAD TO DO IS CALL ME AND I COULD HAVE HELPED THEM. MY ENTIRE DAY WAS WASTED! I called another company to have it installed and the next day went back to best buy and requested a refund of my installation fee.
We appreciate your feedback. It's always frustrating when an appointment is not up to standards and having your Agent miss visiting your home at the scheduled time is not a good way to start a business relationship. I do apologize for the disappointment as this is not the kind of service we aim to provide our customers. We hope you give us another opportunity to better serve you in the future.

I paid for nest troubleshoot as my nest thermostat purchased and installed from best buy would not remain running. It cuts off until it notices movement in the home. I know it is not on eco setting. The technician called and said I am coming to install your nest. I explained to him it wasn't an install, it was a troubleshoot. He advised me to call nest directly, said it was a firmware issue that geeksquad doesn't do. He cancelled my appointment. Due to COVID, nest has no phone customer service. I still haven't received my refund from best buy.

I like my thermostat a lot I really enjoy using it a lot

Tech came out, told me that my heating system wasn't compatible but it would work for now until I had an HVAC tech come out. Turns out, it works fine with my system but he damaged the unit putting it in. HE DID NOT TURN OFF THE POWER. As I walked by I saw an arc, and had to offer to turn it off for him. He said he already had. When it arc'ed a 2nd time I went outside to turn it off for him. Now I'm stuck with a dead NEST thermostat and disputing the charges for this install. Next time I'll call a local HVAC company and not these guys.

I paid to have the Nest Thermostats installed back in June and thought everything was working. Since it was cold last week it was the first time we set them to heat and the house was not heating. Had my HVAC checked and apparently Geek Squad incorrectly installed my Nest thermostats. It was turning the AC on rather than heat! Had to pay $80 for the HVAC trip. Very annoyed I paid almost $300 to get two thermostats installed by Geek Squad and it was installed incorrectly!!
