Have had this technician in the past. He knows his stuff and is very helpful.

Best Buy sent a third party installer to do this. The installer connected everything and then told us it wouldn't work. He detached the Nest and reconnected the old controller. He had blown a fuse inside the HVAC system and couldn't fix it. Was told to get it fixed and to send them the bill. Leaving us with no HVAC for 2 days!

Geek squad installed my nest thermostat quickly and professionally

I paid to have the Nest Thermostats installed back in June and thought everything was working. Since it was cold last week it was the first time we set them to heat and the house was not heating. Had my HVAC checked and apparently Geek Squad incorrectly installed my Nest thermostats. It was turning the AC on rather than heat! Had to pay $80 for the HVAC trip. Very annoyed I paid almost $300 to get two thermostats installed by Geek Squad and it was installed incorrectly!!

Tried scheduling this install 4 different times and it was canceled each time. After 7 months, I PAID to install myself. Best Buy won't do anything. CRST doesn't have any installers to do the work - despite being a TotalTech member which is part of my membership. Want money to compensate. Install was $150 and countless hours chasing this around with CRST and BestBuy. Absolute joke.

Total disaster. The unauthorized or licensed company Geek Squad sent over to install my thermostat got into the breaker box which they broke and left our house with no AC while it was legit 103 degrees outside. They said an electrician was coming over and they never arrived. Called Best Buy and made them aware. To this day I still haven't heard from Best Buy or the garbage company they sent out. Avoid like the plague.
