    Three times scheduling appointment, stayed home all day for the service person. he could not complete the install as he said he is not HVAC approved and could not attach the common wire. I installed the four thermostats my self. Geek squad great for service in Avon CT Best Buy.

    the service was ment o be done on the 6, they did not show up an all day, the say on the page that they installed it on the 7 and they didn't even show up, and the thermostat has not been installed, and I cant reschedule for installation because they say it is already done and they did not show up.

    Technician came and doesn't install because of rewiring cable but he didn't cancel the service. In this case 3 times call to help line and still pending the issue. No one responsible. I only spend my time.

    The guys were cool however the nest thermostat needed an extra wire run to the furnace for the humidifier to work (that’s important). They said they couldn’t do that n I needed to have an hvac company come out to run the wire. Nowhere did we see any warning that this was possible. We called Best Buy…no refund, no discount for a job half done….

    I paid for the service but did not receive the service I paid for. I made the appointment over the phone but did not confirm via email. Didn’t think I needed to. I later found out that that is why no one came. The appointment before this one was also a disappointment. The technician who came was only able to complete one out of the three services I requested. Refund is requested.

    Turn on only heated air

    Third party installer installed my nest thermostat. It worked fine in the cold days with the heat, but when I turn on cool when the temperature rise, it still provide heated air through my vent. I'm very disappointed with service that we received from the Best Buy.

    I just a beverage refrigerator delivered and NOT A Thermostat as stated. I asked for delivery and set up. I just got the delivery, since the Sales Tech didn't state delivery and set up, i was told: "THAT WILL BE EXTRA" VERY DISAPPOINTED overall!

    Got this installed in march. It’s September and I have been trying to get Best Buy to come fix it for a while. I have no AC and Best Buy refuses to help even though I have a kid in the house. Worse experience ever.

    Totally WORTHLESS!, Had this thing installed in October of 2020. Today. July 12. The system failed!!! Had an error come on the screen saying wiring error !! It’s hot as hell out side. Perfect time at 9pm at night for this crap to happen. Gonna rip it out of the wall tomorrow. Stomp on it. Then have a different thermostat installed!!!

    I got a thermostat installed when I was not home (my wife was). When I got home I had a three inch hole in my wall under the new thermostat. They obviously did not use the correct mounting bracket. They told my wife to buy some plaster and left! I paid for a professional installation and I got some kid that did not care and did not even show my wife how to operate it.

    Best Buy sent a 3rd party out to my home and the third party installed the thermoatats incorrectly crossing the wires. Another third party contractor they hired told them an HVAC Tech is required. Best Buy sent the Television Tech.

    Broke my existing thermostat, didn’t install the thermostat I bought. Called for a refund for the cost of repairing my thermostat and still waiting for a response. Really disappointing and no attempt to communicate with me.

    Did not appear to know what they were doing and could not install my therostat. I got some guy off the street, and now my thermostat is installed. Ive used geek squad for my computers with no problem.

    I'm still waiting the technician to come to my home. The first one says he doesn't know how to do the job. I scheduled for another "more prepared technician," but he doesn't showed up the scheduled day. Now I need to schedule for third time...

    First guy came out and installed the smart thermostat & said he didn't know how to use the app. He left the house at 81 degrees. Come to find the install was incomplete. Next appt: NO SHOW. 6 hours of list wages and hours of time on the phone with horrible customer service. We will see if this even gets published.

    The third party installer never showed up.This happened three time. I cancelled my order. To make things worse I still haven't received a full refund from Best Buy Geek Squad reputation is taking a big hit. I am headed to Small claims court.

    Agents seemed to not be interested in doing a job when they showed up; not even a minute after looking at my existing thermostat he advised me that I should have a mechanical contractor come to install my thermostat which would cost me hundreds of dollars versus to Best Buy installation cost. The installation cost is yet to be returned to me.

    they came did not know what they were doing,by the time it got hot out side i turned on my air conditioner,,it did not work was blowing hot air..had to call a hvac specialist, he came took a look and said the wiring was installed wrong..so i also had to pay them to correct you guys mistake!!!
