    Service was terrible so should be 0 star rating. The technician not even know what to do and i waist my time waiting more than 3 weeks for my appointment to resolve nothing because the "technician" was not able to do anything

    Let's just say I was a little disappointed by the install was told it couldn't be done because a wire wasn't correct, called my hvac guy who charged me the same amount no difference in cost at all and had it installed in 30 minutes, the common wire was working and had proper power to it all along...not what the geeksquad tech told me at all.

    Was not happy, person came to install, and walked in and walked out. Because he did not see a blue common wire. But had he taken off wall he would have seen it.

    They could not connect the thermostat to Google home. I had to hire an HVAC company to install it. The problem was solved by using the Nest app. Seems like the geek squad should have known that.

    The tech didn’t’ show the day of the appointment and was 30 minutes late the next day. After he finally got there he said he wasn’t certified to install a thermostat. I don’t recommend using a 3rd party installer.

    the installers were terrible they broke the thermostat wire that came out of the wall and blew the fuse in the ac handler which I had to hire an outside a/c company to make the repairs. all they had to do was install the nest thermostat! never again!!!!!

    Wires cut, damage done and no responsibility of Best Buy. Horrible experience. Management promised to get back. I am still waiting. Lies!

    First time it was scheduled , they never showed up. The second time they showed, only after many calls.

    Geek Squad incorrectly installed thermostat

    The thermostat was installed incorrectly, causing the furnace to stop. Best Buy would not send an HVAC person out to correct. I had no heat in below freezing weather. I had to contact an HVAC company myself to fix.

    It is just not the same! I have had services installed in my home that I still cannot use. Trying to schedule an appointment online is impossible. Troubleshooting you get a foreigner with a very thick accent that is rude and not very knowledgeable. Ugh...

    The agent was not knowledgeable of the thermostat and was unable to install it. They left me without heat and two thermostats that don't work. They were of no help to me. I feel my money was lost.

    Geek Squad can't install Thermostat

    This service was not able to be completed. Upon arrival to the home the Geek Squad took off the existing thermostat control. They said we needed to call an HVAC company to install our NEST thermostat. The thermostat has been sitting in my closet for a few months now.

    Install incomplete due to lack of "C"wiring in place. Need to reschedule. Also, just received an email from National grid, "Easth day" another discount of $20.00 off per thermostat. I bought 3.

    Third party installer screwed it up

    Two different installers from the same third party installer screwed things up and my house was left without heat due to first guy on both floors of my house and second team put old thermostat back on lower level to get heat back on. I still have no Nest thermostats installed but thanks to my fuel company I have heat on both levels

    Best Buy Geek squad came out and recommended 3 nests for my house, i agreed and bought them. Then they came to install them and could only install 1 and told me to take the other 2 back to the store. A real waste of time.

    Did not install one thermostat because of a stated wire issue. Callen in another handy man. He installed it with no wire changes. Cost me $200 even the service should have been free with total Tec.

    When the technician came he wasn’t able to complete the installation. He said that Best Buy should’ve told me to charge the battery in thermostat before he came so he could do the setup but since the battery was very low he was unable to complete the installation so I had to charge it & finish the installation myself.

    Install was fine, customer service not so much

    When I set my appt no one showed up. I was bounced between stores, 1800 numbers and more for days before I got someone to actually come out. I never got an apology or anything. The install went fine when it actually happened. I would never use them to install anything again.
