    I bought this thermostat but they were not able to install due to a power wire and geek squad doesn’t install anything that requires electrical work.

    I would recommend this to a friend

    this installer was very polite , however he was also unable to connect it to my AC. Still waiting to see what else i need to install it !

    Installation failed. I was told I’d be reimbursed for a third party installation. Reimbursement has not happened.

    Very displeased w installation. I paid for two installations: I have two thermostats in my house and already had one nest thermostat, and the installer delivered the second thermostat. He refused to install the second one. I am never purchasing the total tech annual service plan again.

    Google NEST Thermostat

    Google Nest Thermostat never worked properly. Had it serviced over 5 times. Batteries kept draining. Had to finally call a HVAC person to fix it and it was costly. I don’t recommend.

    Incomplete and poor installation. The door lock was installed poorly! Manufacturers code was not shared with the customer and the set up was Incomplete. The door lock did not work!!

    Couldn’t install thermostat

    Three people couldn’t install google thermostat in our house, they’ve been trying to install it for the whole month. At the end they didn’t want to take the thermostat back. Horrible.

    Zero- the technician did not have a clue how to install the nest thermostat. Tore open all packaging rendering it unusable. Lost screws.I had to reinstall my old thermostat.

    Geek squad said I needed a common line installed. Called HVAC guy he came said there already is a common and installed thermostat. So Geek squad has been a total waste of money.

    Purchased smart thermostat with install. Tech installed incorrectly. Turned on heat instead of a/c. Took tech over an hour to figure out how to reinstall my old thermostat correctly.

    Never showed up, I even called to have it rescheduled and they said I'd have to return to a store return the item and repurchase it

    “ specialist” came and couldn’t not install my nest thermostat after reading and reading the book he said he couldn’t do it. Another service call and they send the same one he apologized and left he said he wasn’t certified to install the nest because he was just a 3rd party.

    The technician said he was not an expert in installing Nest thermostat and not sure why he was dispatched for Nest Thermostat installation. When he saw a different wiring in the old thermostat, he just gave up and left.

    Geek squad terribly installed my nest thermostat, went without heat for 2 days and was told I would get compensation for it, been like 3 weeks, never received it. Poor poor service from geek squad, never get installation from here. Terrible Customer service too.

    Several no show appointments and then learned that tech could not complete the job. Wasted time and maximum frustration. Would be zero stars if an option

    Did not install the thermostat correctly. It did not have heat hooked up, and was falling off the wall. Will never use this service again.

    Can't give a zero or I would. They installed Nest Thermostat's, but they didn't work correctly and would not come back to fix them. I had to hire an HVAC company at my expense.

    The installers were courteous but did not install the thermostat correctly and we had to hire another firm to correct the installation. Best Buy refunded our installation fee in full.

    Tech Did not Install the NEST thermostat correctly

    We were wondering why our home was not cooling properly. It's because our NEST thermostat was not installed correctly. I had our AC Unit maintained and they looked at the connection and they said it was NOT properly connected. Get a real professional to do the job.
