Not good installers, thermostat contractors. Recoomend hire professional licensed HVAC Contractor/ Electrician
I appreciate you taking the time to connect with us with your feedback about Smart Thermostat Installation. While agents should be prepared for installation within customer’s homes, some setups may cause concerns or an inability to complete an installation. For example, circuits must be safely accessible to agents where they can shut off power to the existing thermostat, utilize a breaker lockout device, and verify that there is no voltage going to the existing thermostat wires with a voltage meter and/or non-contact voltage tester. Without this verification, installation could not be completed according to Geek Squad standards. While I’m sorry your appointment did not go as we would hope, I’m happy to hear that you have been able to find an installer who can work with your setup. I hope that sometime in the future you come back to Best Buy and have a much better experience.

Service was not installed. To this day I am still waiting have the thermostat in the box.
Having a new thermostat installed is something to look forward to. It sounds like there were some issues with getting a Geek Squad Agent with the proper skill set scheduled for your order. I wish that had not been the case, but we have many Agents that will be able to help. The company that was hired was terrible and very unprofessional, the person bad mouthed Best Buy every second he could.
