It is not worth the purchase. The original GI Joe movie is better

But I'm a completist. This movie lacked originality and loyalty to its source material. It was cultural 'appropriated' to suit some agenda, but instead of then casting a martial artist, they went the other way and for someone with no physical background who was annoying with good dialogue and bitched about the grueling physical conditions of 'training' for the movie...seriously, what did you scorch there? The special effects for the mask was just stupid and unnecessary, as well as the rest of the picture. This would have been better suited as a 'Quick Kick' picture. I'd love to see a fan edit of that. However, it's still better than Rob Zombies the Munsters...so not all bad

I liked the G.I. Joe movies for what they were. As a stand alone movie not associated with the prior G.I. Joe films this might have worked out, but anyone thinking it's another G.I. Joe film it's not. Acting is fine, it's just the character of Snake Eyes has been twisted and turned inside out into something totally different from the G.I. Joe movies. I can't say I liked the final result.

Although I was looking forward to the release of Snake Eyes, I found it disappointing. Too slow moving at times, little difficult to follow, and not as exciting as anticipated. Loved the cinematography and acting was ok but wished it was more like the G.I. Joe movies. One of the few DVDs that we have not had interest to watch again.

The native 4k image is gorgeous. It has both Dolby Vision and HDR, with Dolby Vision looking the best. The Dolby Atmos soundtrack is also fantastic. It should be a great movie, it has all the right pieces. Good action, cool costumes, interesting settings and amazing colors but it just feels super, super cheesy. Two stars.

I didn’t enjoy this movie. Yes, there is plenty of action. but this is not the Snake Eyes from the GI Joe movies, at least the origin of the character. They should have stuck this the first story line and built on it.

Hard to call this a G.I. Joe movie, has some good action when you can see it, some scenes have WAY too much shaky cam, which is a shame. And 3 stars is generous.

A real let down , the fights were terrible . I think a few real martial artist in the movie would’ve been more believe . Red box it if you can before purchase .

Not really that good. They coulda done a lot more to make this origin movie better

Not that great of a movie. But if you’re a Joe fan you will at least get through it.

It's an ok movie, it's just not a snake-eyes movie. It as hard to justify the high price for this one.
