Another producer that doesn't know what they are doing and just makes it up as they sit next to their LA pool half drunk.

For the franchise it comes from, it doesn't do it justice, but the, character had more depth then what was portrayed.

Snake Eyes was an okay film overall, not great, but a decent film. It was an action-packed film. It definitely leaves itself open for another movie to the franchise. I did enjoy the actors as their characters (Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Scarlet, and Baroness). Am I looking forward to a sequel? Maybe, but needs to be better than this one! The first two G.I. Joe films were okay, a lot better than this one, but I enjoyed them for what they are. The main thing that I did not like about this film is that this "prequel" did not align up to the GI Joe films, so it was hard to really appreciate it, but I like it for the action film that it is!

Good Acting, Good Effects, let down on the Plot.

Good acting, good cinematography, decent stunts. However, they tried to do too much to rewrite the SE backstory. Instead of loosing his family as an adult, he looses his father as a child. Also instead of joining of his own volition into the clan it is part of a revenge plot. The change the nature and origin of all the relationships basically and make the story too convoluted while also making SE have more many more moral flaws than the original story line. (This is not the actors fault they did good but the writers would have been better to stick a little closer to the original origins story.)

Strayed away more than I would of cared for from the initial source material. I never expect the movies to be exactly like the book but the storyline they developed for the movie didn't make much sense to me personally and didn't give the character the level of debt that the comics did. He came off like an angry child only looking for vengeance. Even the storyline behind the Arishikage clan wasn't very good in my opinion either. Not bad action scenes but that's as much as I liked about the movie.

Eh….what can I say? For a snake eye origin story, this one kind of missed the mark for one of the more beloved GI Joe characters from my childhood. Love to know how he became a ninja in a week or so staying at a Japanese compound when it takes ninjas YEARS to master it. Shrug. Action was okay and it was somewhat entertaining for what it was. But I almost got a headache from the amount of times they dropped the word HONOR in the film. Smh.

I went into this movie looking for a good GI Joe movie and walked away finding it was a passable action film, but a terrible Joe movie. Action was good and the story was decent, but this was NOT a Joe movie. I still enjoyed it, but not as a Joe movie.

This origin movie disappointed me in that it altered Snake-Eyes backstory from what was mentioned in the first GI Joe movie, which I honestly liked better. Also the inclusion of magic to the universe was questionable. Unfortunately I fear that like with the X-Men franchise this will be the only origins movie.

The movie could have been a lot better. This felt very much like it had more story to tell but the screenwriters just decided to stop right when the real action was about to begin. Performances range from good to average, with not enough Samara Weaving as Scarlett. Worth a rental at best.

I was expecting more out of this film, but got a surprising look into this character! I will say parts of the story were a bit of a let down, I was left feeling with there was a bit of a change in this. All in all the film was good and worth it.

Snake Eyes is my favorite Joe, and I enjoyed his appearance in the first two films and was eagerly anticipating his solo film. I am good with changing the character to Asian, it’s the supernatural aspect of the story I didn’t care for.

I'm a huge G.I.Joe fan and this movie feels nothing like G.I. Joe in any way, It honestly feels like the people who made this didn't know anything about the source material thats not even very entertaining on its own. At least the other 2 movies tried.

A decent ninja movie, but definitely shouldn't have been called a GI Joe or Snake Eyes movie. The acting is fine. The action is fine minus the quick cuts and shakey cam. Its just fine overall. Only watching it again because my kids liked it.

While admittedly not a G.I. Joe fan, I am shocked they keep producing these movies. It is better than the last one, but forgettable. Decent action but nothing noteworthy here.

This was fast and furious but with weapons and martial arts. The actor has a winning combo with his other roles. This is a fight movie with a lot of action scenes and an, ok plot.

A mixed bag all around. It wants to rekindle the G.I. Joe franchise and fails to do so. The movie is okay, but has many weak fantasy elements that detracted from my enjoyment.
