First thing to notice here is that this is a toy for kids, and as 61-year-old kid, I cannot but emphasize that if you're any older, you should go somewhere else. :) Alright, I gave this to my 7-year-old granddaughter after trying it myself for a couple of hours - not including battery charging time - and we were both happy with it. Of course, I've had much more serious drones, but I am not comparing to those as it would be an unfair comparison. As for a kid, this offers a lot of entertainment as my daughter can attest, but the manufacturer clearly did not spend any time to make it quieter. I am positive that most kids will like that, but I am not so sure about parents. My son and daughter-in-law did not complain, but I suspect they were just being nice. It certainly bugged me a little bit while I was trying it on my own. When playing with my granddaughter, her noise was much louder for me to bother with the noise of the drone. The 720p camera is certainly nothing to brag about, but it certainly is no issue for a kid. The image is decent enough although it sort of fails sometimes. And the light show will dazzle any kid. Controlling it is easy. My granddaughter was able to learn it very quickly. The app is not needed for this. What is not so fun is the battery life, which lasts only for a few minutes and charging takes forever so to speak, especially for a child. Also, to use the camera, you need a phone. That can be a problem if your child doesn't have one as they will not be able to take advantage of the camera. Overall, it is a good toy, especially for beginners and kids only. When ordering it, I would recommend to keep that in mind and you will probably not be disappointed. If the plan is to play with it hours every time, then plan on spending considering more for one that has a batter that will last accordingly.

I love this drone! I love the big remote controller and the colorful lights. I appreciate the visability that it creates! I'm bummed out that the fly time is only nine minutes but that is my only issue. It's great for beginners but it also has high quality video.

We received this as a gift for our son. It's a great drone for a beginner. It was very easy to set up and use. I would definitely purchase this as a gift for someone.

You have to know what you’re getting with the Snaptain K30 and limit your expectations because basically it’s a toy and that’s not all bad. You want a small drone you can fly around and not worry about crashing an expensive piece of equipment? This is it. Something fun and easy to control? This is it. In the box you’ll find d the drone itself, four spare propellers, controller, phone mount, charging cable, 2 spare batteries and a storage bag to carry everything. The Snaptian K 30 has colorful lights all around the sides that look cool at night. There is a 720p camera that “had” decent resolution for a toy, more about that later. You have to physically move the camera to get different angles. Controls are easy in my opinion and the app makes it simple. There’s are plenty of options if you use the app & in my opinion that’s where you can get confused. Not everything in the app is labeled clearly but if you spend some time with it you’ll start to remember what everything is. On my maiden voyage I connected the drone to my phone opened the app and thought cool this little toy has a camera. But that ended soon when I had my first crash. When the drone hit the ground from about 5-6 feet the battery popped out and the camera dead, no visual from my app. I powered off the drone restarted it and the app still no video from my drone. Kind of bummed out the camera died on the first crash. Still the the drone was operational and still flew but each time I crashed the battery kept popping out. I also noticed when the drone crashes or stops you just can’t restart it from its final resting position. You have to power it back off and in then you can liftoff again. Despite all those issues still a fun toy to mess with but don’t expect too much.

Great drone for kids, easy to setup and operate. Colorful lights, battery life is good, recharge is fast, and range is good! Would recommend this drone for anyone interested in exploring drone tech.

Super cute and pastel! Though I would be very careful as the grates are kind of wide, kids could easily stick their fingers through and get very hurt or get hair stuck and pulled out. The colors are precious though!
