The cartridge works as well as the one that came with the machine. It’s very convenient to be able to make soda at home.

Good use of CO2

It is a bottle of sequestered CO2, and a SodaStream carbonator makes perfect use of that CO2 when it pushes into the water in my SodaStream bottle. All smiles and feeling of goodness. And as a bonus it's great for the environment that this are exchanged for re-fill by SodaStream.
