Found out I'm Type II diabetic, so had to cut soda (a staple) out of my diet. Since I find Diet drink disgusting in taste, and full of aspertame, I needed an alternative. Found that the syrups use much less sugar than the equivalent 20 oz soda in many of the selections (My favorites are Orange Soda and Root Beer so far). So, just chill two bottles, carbonate, and add syrup.

Good purchase, children and grandchildren use it daily. We have had many liters used and the carbonation bottle hasn't been replaced yet, so it is economical. Being a Pepsi drinker, I am not crazy about the cola flavors, my guess is Coke drinkers will probably like them. Washable bottles and carbonation bottle exchange cuts down on waste and trash disposal. Great buy.

The Sodastream is a wonderful device for making soda at home without having to depend on grocery shopping to buy the product. And it is fun to experiment with adding different syrups and thus having a variety of drinks: coke, orange soda, and other kinds of soda. The disadvantage is the carbonator device can run out of CO2 when you do not expect it to happen.

I bought this as a gift for a friend who loved soda but was trying to cut down and make healthier choices. Got a text within the hour raving about how fast, easy and fun it was. For the whole family! Great alternative to sugary soda's. She loved being able to tweak the sweetness to her liking. Overall a great gift for the soda lover!

Easy to use and convenient for the occassional soft drink.

I wasn't completely sure that I would like the SodaStream compared to normal soda, but I've been pleasantly surprised. The drinks we've tried so far are great (favorites are the energy drink and cherry cola). The machine feels a little flimsy, but has stood up to normal use without any problems. Worth the money for sure.

The sample packs that came with it were out of date. The locat BB did not have any newer. Had to go back to Soda Stream. They were Great with getting me straightened out. The sample pack is a great way to see what you like or dislike.

I bought this as a birthday present for my husband, who drinks cans and cans of seltzer water every day. Way more convenient and I'm feeling good about not filling up our trashcans with the empties created by store bought drinks!

So far it has been a lot of fun! No major complaints. I do wish you could carbonate juice or re-carbonate soda, but that is the nature of carbonation, not an error with the device. Great for making sparking water for use with mojitos!

Great product, makes great soda water and saves me the headache of having to carry bottles up the stairs. I have not had to change the canister yet, getting a new canister is the only part that i think could possibly be a hassle. Overall satisfied.

I received this for Christmas and it is the best, I can make soda in less than 5 minutes and that includes setting it up.

Works great and have saved a bunch if money so far! Have had it for a month and feel we have already gotten our $$ worth from it. Would love to see more flavor syrups, but we also use lemons, oranges ect for more natural flavored soda water too.

I have used my machine about 1 to 2 times per day and it works great. The soda is better than the soda I used to buy in the bottle at the supermarket

I love my soda stream soda maker. The kids enjoy getting to make their own sodas and it saves us a lot of money versus buying soda at the grocery store.

I'm so happy with my SodaStream. I'm so happy that I bought it. Makes wonderful tasting drinks and will result in a huge savings in my food budget.

This product is great for reducing can use and money spent on soda. The start up cost is a little high for the machine, carbonators, and flavor bottles.

I am so happy to not have to carry all those 12 packs of pop into my house any more. I have been thinking about buying one of these for a long time now, and i'm glad I finally did.
