When this first came out I was a bit skeptical. I'm very picky about the sodas I like. I picked this one due to lack of counter space. It doesn't take up much room and since 1 bottle of the mix is about 50 servings, its much easier to carry instead of lugging round 24pk cans, 1,2 or 3 liters and such. If your still not sure about this...come on over and I fix ya one! Even my sister is a convert....and that ain't no easy task.

You can make as much soda as you want. No more leaving half drank cans/bottles of soda that you paid for from the store. And if your careful you can re-carbonate the old soda in those cans/bottles as well. You just need enough to fill up the bottles. Great price for what you save in not wasting soda. This model is a little cheaply made, but a great starter for the money.

i personally like the jet. even tho its the cheapest, its great. easy to use and great taste

My family loves our SodaStream. Simple to set up and use. I like that the flavors are similar to Coke flavors. They're not exact copies of any brand but in my opinion they're closer to Coke than any other. I also like the Natural flavors (Coke, Root Beer & Ginger Ale). They remind me of what soda tasted like when I was a kid AND the Coke/Root Beer are excellent over ice cream. The only flavor that could use some work is the "Sprite" mix, not the greatest. Orange, Dr. Pete, Coke Free are all excellent. I really like that I can customize my own flavors....Coke with Grenadine or Lime is excellent. I figure it costs around .75 cents per liter and in my book a quarter saved in this economy is good. Well worth the high initial investment and will provide many happy returns. ENJOY OVER ICE CREAM, YOU WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED

Bought this a month or so ago and I'm still using it. Really enjoy the diet colas so far. Have tried a couple that I don't really like, like the Diet Fountain Mist [it's ok, but smells a little of medicine or cleaner or something] and the Cherry Cola [It's a little too cherry perhaps]. All-in-all, it's still providing us some good soda! Living in a state with 10 cent bottle returns and pretty cheap soda almost makes it not worth buying. At least there are fewer bottles and cans being used and the ingredients are healthier for you than most sodas. My experience in using the maker is like this: One really long [it seems long anyways] first push of the button until it finally makes a buzz noise and then two really really short pushes of the button until a buzz happens. I don't know if I really need the 2 extra ones since they're so short.

Okay... so I've had this for about a month now. There are definitely high points and low points. The low points are pretty much all of the mixes that soda stream makes. Even the ones that most people say are great, I haven't enjoyed. On the other hand, I LOVE the taste of taking concentrated frozen juice mix and adding it to the carbonated water. I also took some drink mixes (like Crystal Light) and added to the water from the machine with some GREAT outcomes and some terrible outcomes. Overall, it's "average" to me. Would I buy it again? Maybe. If you want to enjoy something other than soda, it's a good option. The novelty wears-out quickly, though.

My nieces and nephew liked this gift. Now they make their own soda.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband, and it's a huge hit. He has been drinking a lot of seltzer water lately, and this is a way for him to flavor his seltzer water however he wants. He loves to experiment with flavors!

I just bought the Soda Stream today, my wife and I really like it. I am not going to say that we will never drink the brand name stuff again but I do like how easy it is and fast too. I also like how we can a glass of soda and have it be healthier as well.

i love this machine! it has saved me a lot of money i would have spent on sodas. this is a must have to get if you like making your own sodas!!

This is a really fun addition to the kitchen. Unique and convenient. Do not believe it will ever take the place of your favorite, brand name soda. It is just really fun to have and easy to use.

Much cheaper than buying soda at the store. Most of the flavors we have tried so far taste pretty close to the brands they are trying to mimic. My teenagers enjoy using it.

Bought this for my teenage son for xmas ,(he drinks sodas everyday and night) figured this would be a great value by helping me save on buying sodas and carbonated juices every week

I have nothing negative to say about this device except that it isn't the one with the LED light. As far as this particular model is concerned, I have had it for over a month and have made soda with it daily. It has led to huge savings since I was buying 2 twelve packs a week (about $9 weekly) and 2-3 sodas throughout the day at restaurants or during my lunch break (easily $15 weekly). Now I pay $4.99 for the flavor and I already got the unit. It's just about keeping co2 and flavor in stock, which is a heck of a lot cheaper than buying a Coca Cola or Pepsi product.

Less waste and my kids love to help drink the soda they helped make. Very happy with the flavors and mixing them up. WIll be trying new ways to flavor soon!

I was totally surprised it worked and actually tasted great!

Didn't expect much, got it to humor a kid. But it turns out we really like it. The flavors, even the non diet varieties, have less sugar than typical drinks and we can also control the carbonation levels to make it less overwhelming for people who don't like strongly carbonated drinks.

I love seltzer, and also as a single parent I want to save money. My kids can make whatever drink they want and I never have 2L bottles going flat. Also saves time/trips to the grocery store, because I am never really "out" of soda.

This has to be one of the greatest inventions ever. By using this I have saved hundreds of dollars by not buying soda and making my own. The syrups to make the soda are close if not better than the actual sodas on the market.
