The makes soda but tastes terrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for the family for Christamas. We opened on News Years eve and tried it out. We had several failed attempts but finally got the carbonation right. Unfortunately the flavors are not too good. We tried slightly different amounts of mix but nothing really tasted that good, even the grandchildren didn't care for them. The worst part of the story is that we tried to return it for store credit and best buy would not take it back even though the advertise that there are no product exceptions for returns right now on their emails. After being a loyal best buy customer and reward zone member for so many years this was the biggest disappointment of all.

my carbonator was defective!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had it all set up, I put the carbonator in back, filled with into their bpa free bottle, then when I went to press the button-silence! I called soda stream customer service which is 24/7 which is great because i can call after 9pm and not use up my cell phone minutes!! Anyways, I was all excited for nothing. Since I dont know where the box went, I had the company start an order-they will send me a box in 7-10 days with a new unit, i just exchange the old broken stuff with the new and send it back-I can still enjoy flat water with syrup,I just hope to get a carbonator that actuallly works though!

expensive too much work

Overall price per liter of soda is not much different than you can buy it for in the store. Taste of flavors is bad. Took it back to store for a refund.

Poor taste, poor preformance

The diet cola tastes more like diet Coke to me and I had a very bad after taste about 2 minutes after drinking a glass of the stuff. I also noticed that the carbonation did not seem to hold up like I am use to. My glass went flat fast. I will be sending this back.
