Quick to learn and use. Soda tastes great.definitely recommend.

Love the soda stream. It satisfies my need for soda. I've dramatically cut down on soda, and been drinking a lot of water that is just carbonated. For first time users, it is kinda scary, the unit will make this loud cranking noise when the water is nicely carbonated. Pouring the water into a cup will make it loose more of its carbonation though.

Really great soda stream, easy to use! Makes great sparkles in no time.

I have been wanting to buy one of these for a while now. I love to drink club soda with a little lime or lemon, but always forgot to buy it at the store. Now I have an unlimited supply and I love it. Don't particularly like the cola flavors, but the Diet Grapefruit is really good. I figure this device will truly pay for itself in a short period of time.

I have owned an original SodaStream for a few years and purchased this model as a gift for a family member. I was initially a little concerned that this model might be of lesser quality due to the lower price, but I was pleasantly surprised. I really appreciate the smaller size of the device compared to mine, yet it uses the same size bottles and cartridges. Plus I found removing the bottle to be easier on this model than mine. The only thing I observed was that the button to activate the pressure required a firmer press than I expected, but once I got the feel for it I was fine. I would highly recommend this to others.

I decided to jump on the SodaStream bandwagon after hearing about it from friends. As a whole it's a good product, not expensive to try and works well for carbonating. Pretty quick and easy to make seltzer products... add your own flavoring. The added mixes don't always work as well as advertised, but still a decent product.

The soda maker is great for me because I rarely drink soda, so when I buy cans or 2 liters they tend to go flat and get wasted. Since the syrup has a relatively long shelf-life and the only other ingredient is tap water, making my own is very convenient. Operating the SodaStream is pretty straightforward and quick; with the only vague part being exactly how long to push the button. So far it's worked out every time; just be sure to taste a little of the carbonated water before adding your syrup.

Three stars for the product but five stars for the Best Buy sales associate averages out to the four-star review. I went to purchase this starter for my wife for Christmas, and was considering adding a second 60-liter carbonator. When I picked that up, I noticed it was heavier feeling than the entire starter kit, which made me believe the kit did not have a carbonator in it. I expressed this concern to the sales associate, who proceeded to open EVERY kit on the shelves and none of them had carbonators. Thankfully, he gave me a refill tank free with my purchase of the kit, so everything worked out. Which is great because my wife loves this product--she doesn't make soda, she just makes her own seltzer water. But she does it daily.

You can make your own soda at home, and it ends up cheaper than the name brand stuff in the long run. Sure, it's not quite as good, but there's so much use I get out of my sodastream. Just make sure to only use the water with the carbonator.

Have looked at this item for a while. Finally decided to invest in it and so glad I did. Easy to use, carbonation lasts and saves money in the long run

This is a V-Day present for hubby. No more lugging 6 pack, 12 pack ... . We don't bother with CRV returns so no more paying for 5 cent per unit on those cans and bottles! Best Buy matches Amazon on a lower price which is nice! Love the unit - convenient access to fizz water, fits nice on counter BUT the carbonator exchange is $$ hence i took away one star. the new package did come with a $5 coupon for the first carbonator exchange which is a nice little surprise. We are in CA so surrounded by stores who do the exchange. I would call around the big stores: Bed Bath Beyond, Walmart, Target etc to make sure they carry the exchange otherwise, it would be a pain to own one and hassle to do exchange.

It is easy to use, you can keep it all clean by pouring your newly bubbled water into separate container to add flavor to or drink from. I have found I can now know what is in my drinks, add bubbles to all kinds of flavorings and know if it fresh and not been sitting for months. Doesn't take up much space either as you don't have to plug it in! love it most as I think we can all start someplace by not wasting cans and plastic bottles. I recycle everything and annoy my neighbors to do it as well but our landfills show we are losing. We can all start someplace!

I love the money i have saved using this product plus i get to choose how much carbonation my drink gets. Some of the flavor choices are to be desired but others Are great!!!!

We bought this after we decided to start making our food at home to save ,obey and be healthy. Easy setup and easy to use. After a few days we are glad we purchased this wonderful gadget.

I like lightly flavored soda water, and this is perfect for that. I usually give a quick squirt of MiO liquid flavoring after carbonating a bottle of water, just enough to give it a very light fruit taste. If you over-do the MiO, you better like the taste of artificial sweetener, because it is horribly over-sweetened, but in low doses it's fine. I'm not a big fan of the flavorings that they sell specifically for this product, but now and then I do like the root beer and grapefruit flavors, and a handful of others. Some flavors, like diet cola were not to my liking. But, there are people who absolutely loved the taste of Tab, so go figure. It's a matter of personal taste. The bottom line is you're not limited to using the Sodastream flavors, you can flavor it with anything you want. From what I've seen so far, you're not going to save much money, if any, with this product. In the long run, I don't think it will cost you much extra, though. Mainly, you're buying convenience and flexibility. An almost endless supply of soda water, flavored however you want it flavored. Sodastream's flavors or whatever you like. Invent a new soda yourself. That's exactly what I was looking for, which is why I gave the 5 stars. If I was expecting to save much money or was expecting all of their flavors to taste just like the big name sodas, I would have given it only 4 stars. They have a lot of flavors, so if that's what you're looking for, you'll find at least a few that you like.

This is quite easy to use, saves a lot of money even over Costco cases of sparkling water--and not having to throw those bottles away is great. Love the fact you can do liter or half-liter bottles.

Exactly as promised, simply produces a bottle of carbonated water in a matter of seconds. Haven't had it for long, so can't comment on durability and extended performance, but for now, it's terrific.

The entire family loves this. I can not wait to try the many flavors. Something for everyone. We do need to purchase extra bottles. Very easy to set up and use.

I read different reviews and compared the different models and I love this one. It's easy to use and very convenient to make your own soda.

Really nice. No more bottle returns. On demand soda. Grapefruit and orange are awesome, but diet cola is no t so good. Just a heads up...the replacement c02 is $30... Best buy will give it to you for $15 if you bring in the spent bottle...but some beverage centers and paintball fields will fill the old bottle for less. The local beverage center refills for $5... A lot better than $30.
