Bought new laptop and was told by sales associate that Geek Squad would take care of transferring all my programs and data from my old unit. However they said they didnt do that when I went to the appointment. I was able to do it myself. I did have some issues setting up certain email addresses in an app that they spent a lot of time trying to figure out with me, at another appointment. Most encounters with them have been good. Still unable to resolve one email problem. They say it is a software issue in windows 11. I like having the Geeks available.

The Squad did a fine job installing my programs from my old PC to my new HP PC. Turn around time was quicker than planned.

Changed my hard drive... lost my old albums in the process, one drive was a nightmare to get around from.. i completely hate onedrive..... but overall after the install my laptop works better then before.. i did notice damage to my laptop when i received it, i asked about it to the person that helped me but he brushed it off.. i asked for management and nothing was said or done..still hasnt been fixed..

So thankful that the Geek Squad was able to download information from my hard drive to my new laptop

They installed Office 365 remotely. It only took about 15 mins from start to finish.

Geek squad workers installed all the software I needed on my new ipad and new solid state drive on my Dell computer. I was disappointed that the issues with my batteries were not caught during that work, so I had to come back two more times to get them fixed. I was also disappointed that I had to order the bios battery myself and then bring in my computer again for installation. I was still getting another message that was finally diagnosed as the big battery on my computer not taking a charge well anymore, thus needing replacement with another order by me and trip in to install.

Great work by the Geek Squad in adding and personizing the programs that I commonly use. I worked with two different technicians, and they were both great. They were patient with this old man, and they sincerely answered my questions without making me feel ignorant. I highly recommend the top of the line contract, as it certainly took care of me.

Alexis was GREAT.... I had to tell him in the begging to slow down because I wasn't a tech-y person. He just laughed and handled my situation with care. I liked the fact that he understood what I was trying to explain to him because I had no idea ..lol I tried to give him a cash tip, and he declined. I offered to have his lunched delivered and he declined that also. Talk about integrity !!! Wonderful young man. I will be visiting the same store (if needed) again and I will personally ask for him.

Haven’t needed to use the Geek Squad since I purchased a laptop for mg son’s college, but just knowing they’re there to assist me in anything should go wrong is money worth spending. The peace of mind is everything.
