I had to come back three times when they put my stuff in the middle and initial and I felt like I did not get what I paid for I’m not sure sure I will ever ever use a geek squad again but I have a membership so I have to use it till the memberships over with and hopefully they’ll give me good service

System seems to be fine. Do wish more instructions or guide was provided.

I got everything I wanted and more. The customer service was awesome.

Of course now it is more difficult because of Covid 19

After several years of use my computer suddenly required a password. I own a minitower HP computer. I asked the Geek squad to remove the password requirement which they did. However, after a few months the computer again required a pass word.

So glad I had this done by geek squad. I would be lost.

I wasn't that impressed with how the Geek Squad moved data from my old laptop to the new laptop. I was very specific in telling them that I wanted the new one to a duplicate of the old one. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case as a lot of files, pictures, and most important all my contacts from Outlook were not on the new one. I am now going to have to take it back in and see if they can recover the old data.

In the years past an appointment was not required. The initial associate, young man, was rude and refused to help me without an appointment. He also made me feel stupid for still having a Dell Latitude with Vista Laptop and almost refused to schedule an appointment to remove Kaspersky and replace it with updated Security software. However, when I returned the next day for my appointment a sweet female associate was fantastic and provided excellent service. I have purchased all my computers and electronics at Best Buy for many years and received excellent service. I will return but am saddened by the lack of good customer service by the young man. He truly needs more training or you will lose customers!

Not a good experience. They did not seem to know what they were doing. Not at all to my expectations.

The agent gave me the computer but the printer does noy work well

Agents worked VERY hard but I had to return MANY times due to limit of 20 minutes per session. This is unreasonable especially given it was a Best Buy purchase.

Agent installed my new anti virus. But he didn’t manage to remove my original anti virus program. Darn. I believe it’s causing my computer to run slower

The three sales techs were very helpful and did the installation in a timely manner (almost two days).

I guess everything that was to be installed was installed, but I have no documents that guarantee this occurred. Using some of the programs will be a series of trial and error as there seem to be no directions available.

The support was given for a computer that I owned last year. The technical support tried to troubleshoot but was not able to determine what was going on. I eventually sent the device back to the manufacture for a repair/replacement.

Their support is not very good. Made an appointment to pick up my new laptop and while waiting people would just go straight to a tech person and get help while people who had appointments sat and waited for at least 45 min past their appointment time. I'm sorry I purchased Geek Squad support.

I sent my elderly mom in for a Virus Check and the Geek Squad told her she needed a complete system uninstall and reinstall. I lived in another state or I would have done it myself. They scammed her because of her age and scared her into the complete system uninstall/install. Then signed her up for an auto renewal of some membership. Every year we call to cancel the membership, they say they will, however, each year they continue to charge the card almost $200. DO NOT GO TO GEEK SQUAD UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERS. Or take someone with you who does. Always get a 2nd opinion, and go to PC Laptops for simple scans. They won't rip you off.

Everything works fine but... They spent 5 days with my laptop just to get Ram memory installed on it.
