The three sales techs were very helpful and did the installation in a timely manner (almost two days).

The agent gave me the computer but the printer does noy work well

Their support is not very good. Made an appointment to pick up my new laptop and while waiting people would just go straight to a tech person and get help while people who had appointments sat and waited for at least 45 min past their appointment time. I'm sorry I purchased Geek Squad support.

Everything works fine but... They spent 5 days with my laptop just to get Ram memory installed on it.

Really can't say much about this soft wear yet because we haven't hooked up computer yet I'm assuming it is the soft wear I did purchase for a,home based computee

I sent my elderly mom in for a Virus Check and the Geek Squad told her she needed a complete system uninstall and reinstall. I lived in another state or I would have done it myself. They scammed her because of her age and scared her into the complete system uninstall/install. Then signed her up for an auto renewal of some membership. Every year we call to cancel the membership, they say they will, however, each year they continue to charge the card almost $200. DO NOT GO TO GEEK SQUAD UNLESS YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE SOME KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTERS. Or take someone with you who does. Always get a 2nd opinion, and go to PC Laptops for simple scans. They won't rip you off.

Not thrilled with it. Laptop would not load Microsoft Teams. Tried dozens of time. Something missing from the registry. Laptop was maybe 6 weeks past purchase! I feel I should not have been charged, but the kid would not budge. Not real thrilled with the laptop either, seems quite slow to me, it drags. Would like to have gotten a more expensive one, but my friend paid for it. $1200. Next time I'll order from the manufacturer and forego a purchase at Best Buy.

Good but needed to return too many times. It would have been better if I could have been with the technician during the installation.

NOT AT ALL IMPRESSED! I scheduled an appointment for pickup and then I sat there while the geek squad guy did his thing in silence because he never said a word and frowned at me when I asked a question. Finally he handed over my new laptop and basically pushed me out the door. He might be good at the tech thing but he had ZERO customer skills and should NOT be dealing with the public. I scheduled another appointment and still did not receive much help in learning how to use a new laptop. This was all extra disappointing because when I dropped my new computer off at the Geek Squad the young lady who helped me was AMAZING!! She was SUPER knowledgeable and personable! SHE is the only reason I even gave them one star! I am hoping future interactions are a serious improvement. We will see…

Took 5 trips to get done right. Agents were pleasant.

The agents set up new computer and transferred data from old computer.

Geek was to uninstall skype on my laptop and install zoom, however skype was not removed which is what I paid to have removed.

Haven't used it yet, but I'm excited to try it out.

I am paying for the Geek Squad to help but so far all I have gotten is them telling me I can find the answer online. That is so disappointing. I am not tech saavy that is why I bought the support. I still don't have my printer hooked up and haven't been able to use it since I purchased the new computer. You hear good things but I sure haven't experienced it yet. Unfortunately, right now I wish I wouldn't have paid for a year of support.

I needed a simple recovery tool instillation and update on gaming headset because it was only compatible on a Windows PC, and the person did his best but didnt install the software on the usb piece correctly because he left it switched to console mode. I'm annoyed that this cost me $40 and that's after Best Buy sold me this lemon of a headset for $150. I think the cost of these attempts of service should also reflect their capabilities. Why can't they make sure it fully works in store? Why is there not an xbox/playstation console in the store that is dedicated for gaming services? I pray any manager of Geek Squad reads this so they can strengthen their facility.

The technician was nice and patient. She knew her job. Very busy department. Need chairs for customers to wait.

In transferring Word documents, they installed the “Alias” I had on the desktop, but not the actual documents file (which was quite large)—so I did it myself. Also, bother, some of the files from an old edition of Word transferred as Unix files, which can only materialize through a primitive processor (luckily on board). They did better with the photo files and the apps.
