    Horrible service. Was told three times my computer was fixed at each time it wasn't, huge inconvenience constantly driving back and forth to the store. Geek squad representatives were also incredibly rude and inconsiderate, booking me appointments to discuss my computer with technicians just for me to arrive there and no technicians be there. Never ever using geek squad again, most likely never buying from Best buy again as well.

    After 2 reschedules, I still have not seen them or have a computer. The second reschedule was very confusing and made me miss an important Doctor appointment. I know have to wait till June for appointment. Not a happy camper.

    My hard disk on my fairly new ASUS laptop was running at 100% and would then freeze up. I took it to their geek squad and they couldn't find out what the problem was. So they told me they would try to reinstall windows 10 yet didn't tell me it would cost anything. It still isn't fixed and i had to pay half of the reinstall price because they said it was partially my fault for not asking.

    They had me stay at the store to install. The girl from geek squad just stood there and let me and my daughter debate on the next steps, she just watched up. I could have done that at home

    When I bought my computer I asked if I could have all files and such transferred from the old to the new. I was told I could. When I came in to get my computer after the setup was done, I was told that I couldn't do the file transfer as the machine was broken. I was told to call back in a week to see if I could schedule that to be done. I waited a week and a half, and when I called to schedule, I kept getting "we do not accept calls at this location". I called the 800 number and the customer service agent sounded like she had no idea what she could do for me and then said that she would enter a message to have someone call me back. It's been a week and I have had no calls. This means a trip or possibly two back to the store to ask questions and schedule appts. NOT HAPPY!!!!

    Poor service and questionable knowledge from agent

    Geek squad agent deinstalled Webroot & installed Trend Micro on laptop. Agent rude from moment began assisting me. Did not seem knowledgeable and eventually said sometimes webroot doesn’t work on Mac, even though I’ve used it for years; So I had to buy Trend micro Somehow she deinstalled my printer; why, I don’t know. I also had other messages on my laptop when I got home, due to her working on it, that I didn’t understand (she didn’t explain). Now I have to try to get help from someone, surely not geek squad on that. Paid almost $100 for a product I had to switch to, rude Service, and questionable “quality” “geek” technical service.

    Geek Squad transferred my computer info incomplete

    The agents transferred my info from my old computer to the new one and lost 90% of my documents. Rekpeatedly I tried to get them to recover them but they never did.

    Although the geek squad is very nice and polite, this guy installed the wrong version of Office. He installed the one you pay for every year, when I tried to explain to him that the user name and address that we already had was used on our other computer and we just pd the yearly fee, and did not download yet.

    For something that should be free the computer was purchased at best buy. the geek personal were friendly but take their time to help you if you donot have an appointment. Plus as good sales person they try to up sell everything.

    But they said if I paid for the package they would recover my SSD and data. They told me twice they could. In the end they didn't even try with the excuse that they might damage my old computer. They already knew my old computer was dead and unsalvageable because the motherboard was fried.

    New Laptop purchased as gift

    While I have had previous good service from Geek Squad not this time. The young lady who I saw at appointment to pickup laptop was not helpful. I felt like she was in a rush to get me out the door. She did not explain even basic questions for me, I did not want to complain so just left.

    I had my operation system reloaded, due to loss of password. I had to return to the store, because the touch pad was working, when I got home. The error was omitting the test of the laptop at the store
