Bluetooth technology is improving everyday. No complains on sound quality with these. Especially on how small they are. Followed instructions on best fit for ear tip sizing. It does come with 4 different size types. I was never a fan of the in-ear designs but these work being they feel snug and lock in the base sounds. Pairing for stereo and mono modes works fast and without fail. Sometimes needs a wake up for second earbud to connect stereo but understandable if it thinks you only want mono sound. Range is great, no clipping or drops within about 20-30ft including walls or cubicles. Havent drained the battery dead yet since I will listen to about 2 or 3 albums and then return them to the power storage dock. Oh, power dock is magnetic too, which keeps them held in place while charging. Outdoor cycled with one earbud in mono mode and no issues with it slipping or falling out. Mic for taking phone calls or using Siri not so good. May be just the location of the Mic.

    Overall Solid Headphones

Let me say reviews were scarce so I took a whim on these. The key like any in ear bud is fit. Once you get the fit the sound is top notch. I also completed my run and workout without any fallouts, and only a few adjustments ... again like any in ear bud. Another plus is the coating on these because if you don't get the solid fit and just want to put them in, they may fall out but being water resistant and with the coating it should help durability. I also like the fact I can use one at a time, so you can go well beyond 3 hours if needed. Pairing is a bit of a hiccup if I like to switch between one at a time or both. I am finding just forgetting the connection then re doing it may be the better route. I did use them on a phone call and they were adequate, but my primary use is easy listening one ear piece at a time around the house, workouts and running. For all those purposes I am very happy. Btw.... what were those airpods again? I did purchase the geek squad $40 protection because these will be put through the ringer , workout and running wise. All around solid buy, again the key is fit so if you can make it work they will be good. Keep that in mind on negative reviews as well.

First off, I was able to get these out the box and the worked perfectly. What I liked about these more than other earbud based headphones is they worked perfectly while my phone was in my pocket. I wish I could control the track skip function, but this headphone relies on siri or manual track skip from phone. Still an amazing product. The sound quality and bass is amazing and it just works for my running workout needs.

One week in the gym with the Sol Amps Air and there is no disappointment! Great quality sounds, fits my odd shaped ears perfectly (lol), have not fallen out, even during rigorous runs. 3 hours of battery life if plenty for my workouts. Satisfied with the syncing and battery charging in its awesome charging case. Above all, I love the comfort and discreet look. So far so good.

I loved my Earin's thought that the simple design was great. The Bragi Dash, Samsung's IconX (or whatever) and others do to much for my taste, I just want good sound. After putting these in my ear, i could not believe the sound, very deep crisp bass. They are on the large size compared to the Earin's, but a great upgrade for me, and they were around 60 bucks cheaper than my Earin's. Easy set up and use, try'em I'm disappointed so far.

If I can give this more than 5 stars I would. This is by far the best sounding true wireless that I ever own. I tried the others and either they have connection issues or the sound is not as good. Yes, this maybe bulky but its because the bass driver needs some room to fit in. And I am sure SOL's engineering department did their best to keep this small as they can. Overall, superb sounding true wireless headphone. Buy it!!!

Good for music, Not so for phone calls

I bought this as a replacement to my Sol Republic Bluetooth headset which has been used to death. The buying point was this was completely wireless and it actually had two pods and not one like a lot of the earlier models that only had one. I charged this overnight just so that I could get the best from my investment. In the morning I got these to sync up to each other then to my phone. Easy. No hiccups. So I started to play music through them and was pleasantly surprised at how good they really are. Sound quality is great. It was a few days before I actually got to use these for a phone call. The person on the other end can hardly hear me, and it seems like the sound does not come through the right earpiece when you are on the phone. I thought this was a mistake or that the right side unpaired. Not the case. As soon as my phone call was over I went back to my music program and it played beautifully for the music. So overall good for music, not so good for your phone calls that's why the 4 Stars instead of the 5.

I was blown away when I put these in and connected to them to my iPhone. The sound is HUGE and the bass is DEEP! I don't know how Sol fit such powerful drivers into these things. My Bose QC15s don't even put out this much sound. Give these a try!

Ok I was very skeptical cause I read reviews, and it helps me determine if I should buy them or not. And these true wireless headphones had got like a 3.7 rating or so. But honestly I was very impressed! Absolutely shocked! I was gonna wait for the new Sony true wireless headphones to come out In October before I bought a pair of these style headphones, but I decided I’ll give these a try until then. See the only thing I REALLY don’t like about these headphones is the battery life only 3 hrs, the new Sony ones will have a 9 hrs battery life but honestly I’m not gonna have these things in my ear 24 hrs a day so when I take them out back in the case for a little charge until I put them back in so really you don’t notice the 3 hr battery life cause you always have the power to charge it so you never run out of battery. And the other kind of negative things I heard about these headphones was the sound on the lows, I get what their saying but it’s really not that bad at all! The bass is so deep and heavy it takes care of that! And I like a lot of bass when I listen to my music, the kind where you can just feel it vibrate you little ear drums in their!!! And these definitely have that taken care of! It’s amazing I don’t know how they do it I just didn’t believe it until I heard it for my self. And that’s probably where the battery goes so fast! Lol to power those powerful little thingys!!!but definitely the best by far! Or at least SO FAR!

Easy to charge. Pairing was extremely simple. The sound is amazing & rich. Better than any other pair I've tried. The range is very impressive & clear even while being away from phone. While on the phone, call quality was great. Very comfortable as well. Lastly, the price was on point. Don't waste your time on anything else.

I have fought with wires and Bluetooth headphones and earbuds for as long as I can remember. With the release of the iPhone 7, 3.5mm jacks are a dying technology. Bluetooth is the way to go, SOL Republic Amps Air is the way to go. First let me start by saying, the packaging of these little buds is beautiful. After you open the neatly packed box, you discover the two little, rubber coated earbuds. After unboxing the earbuds, you then find the small carrying case/charger neatly packed with an owners manual, extra ear bud covers and a micro USB charging cable. Follow the quick-set-up instructions and you will be up and running in no time. I have a hard time finding ear buds that stay in my ear and these fit perfectly and DO NOT fall out. They are all rubber and extremely comfortable (for me). They sound incredible for how small they are and they do not look obnoxious hanging out of your ears. NOTICE: when calling, facetiming etc. only one ear produces sound because it changes from stereo to mono. However; you can still hear well and you as the talker can be heard crystal clear. All said and done I would buy these over and over and would recommend to anyone who is sick of fussing with headphones in the gym.

I use these for running. I haven't had any problems with them falling out or sealing properly, even on long runs (2 hours +). I usually listen to audio books or podcasts and sound quality is terrific. Music is even better. When you've got a good seal, the bass response is surprising. I didn't know that some little headphones would respond so well to the lows and highs. I'd recommend them all the way around.

These do not have multipoint bluetooth. If you are someone like me who wants to connect these to more than one device at a time you're out of luck. There's no way for these to be synced to your laptop and phone at the same time. And they WILL NOT sync with Apple Watch the ear-bud frequency is far too low. The fit is terrible. I tried each sizing for these and they kept falling out. It seems like the sweat resistant coating makes them slip-out so easier. I could just be sitting down and they would fall out. I'm not a fitness person but I could imagine these being a nightmare for those who workout. The treble, bass and EQ sound really good while they're snug. But if they start losing their grip they sound very cheap and high pitched. The only thing great about these is the charging case. If that's the biggest selling point for you, I wouldn't even bother.

I love these earbuds. They work great and it comes with an awesome charging case. You can actually use the battery in the charging case to charge your phone (you just need to provide your phone's charging cable)! They sound great for such tiny earbud units, I just hope I won't lose either of them anytime soon!

    First in-ear headphone purchase

Received my SOL Republic Amps Air in-ear headphones in the mail yesterday. I'm deployed to Kuwait so I will be using them primarily during workouts. Charged them up last night for about an hour or so and they were ready to go. It took several times before I was able to pair them together, only one wanted to work initially. Once I finally got both headphones paired, it was easy to pair to my iPad. I was able to listen for about an hour before I heard a message indicating they needed to be recharged. I continued to listen and heard the message again before recharging. I will try again today after leaving work to see if I'm able to get more than an hour of listening time.

I really dig these. I have jabras elite, 65t and airpods and bragi the headphone. These sound better than those. I havnt tested battery life or water resistance. But they feel good in the ear and dont need to be turned up to eleven to hear p-casts or music. So far my experience with 4.2 has been better than 5.0. Every 5.0 connection seems to always be a quiter and so so connection stability I have a samsung s8 so its not like i have an ancient. phone....Bottom line the sound on these kicks major butt.
